I was able to attend and meet him today. I had my VF-1J chunky monkey re-issue and Perfect Memory signed. It was amazing to meet him in person. He was very nice and accomodating to fans. A lot of fellow fans brought a lot of their Macross stuff and his other works to be signed. Met a lot of other fans as well while in the queue. If you're in the Philippines do try to go and meet him. Talked to some of the convention staff and they said he'll be at the Walk of Fame before and after his talk at 2pm tom Sun.

A friend studying in Japan managed to get me these 3 volumes.

Not exactly Macross but it did remind me of Macross Zero.

Got my Perfect Memory back. Out 8 with the stripes, ships and mechs on the cover in silver paint/ink. Veffidas, I got pretty much the same with what Gubaba had on the details you were looking for. I'd take pics when I get hold of a decent cam. Too bad I never took note of who I got it from so I could ask if it once had a poster with it.

Wooh! A Macross TCG? Count me in, though I doubt they'll release it in English. Could be great fun if someone sets up a website with the cards translated. I doubt my basic level Nihongo would get me that far with these. Is it released by packs like other TCGs? Or/And can I get a starter to play? Hope they'll be easily available outside of Japan.

Thanks for the info. Seems like I got the original with OUT 8 and the book jacket was hard. Still have to get it from the girlfriend to doublecheck since I left it with her after the convention.

How would you know if it's a bootleg? The paper and printing was good quality. And how the heck do you bootleg a book like that?

Got a second-hand copy of Perfect Memory at a local toy convention yesterday. No poster (didn't know it should have one) but in very good condition (plastic cover taped to cover though) My girlfriend found it with a bunch of other stuff from a booth seller's library. I'm not sure if it was a good deal at around 20 bucks but once I held it I knew I shouldn't let it go.

But the goggles. They do nothing! XP I'm still hoping you'll finish the VF-1 girl costume.

Roy was Skull-01 and Hikaru was Skull-11 (or at least that's what I heard while watching.) What's Max's or Kakizaki's designation before Roy kicked the bucket? How about the other Skulls. Any info about the rest of them. I need the numbers for a shirt project I'll be making for my fellow Macross buddies. Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, I was 3 months old back then. Watched RT first when I was in kindergarden but the internets and friends enlightened me eventually.

Managed to watch it via keyhole. What a grand finale. Daedelus manuever ftw! I think Ranka purged the virus from Sheryl. Was it a locket that Bilrer had that had Minmei's pic in it?

A bit out of topic. But can anyone direct me to VF-0 images as stunning as these?
