  1. I didn't order any decals, so I don't have a dog in this fight...BUT, if you actually take payment upfront, then be it your hobby or job, people will expect timely delivery of the product. If you had a waiting list where people could sign up for decals, and you could tell them to pay when you were ready I imagine you would have gotten very few complaints. Even if this is something you're doing on the side to help out some fellow fans, you can't be too surprised when people get crabby that you took their money right away, and took your time with the product (for whatever reason). But like I said, I'm not one of 'em so what do I care?
  2. methinks jenius is right (about the bucket thing...not his spelling of methinks)
  3. That's the one I had a recast of. It sucked. At least my recast did. Not enough definition in any of the parts and a poor fit. Well, this is all I could dig up. In fact most of these I just got off another thread on this forum, as they are larger resolution than what I had before. As for official color, it looks to vary a bit. The scheme itself is simple and consistant, but whether you go with a redder or a more magenta seems optional. There is a simplified side view/silhouette in the art books, but sadly none of mine are with me. Hopefully someone can post that for you, although I don't know if it would be very helpful. Not much detail in it.
  4. I don't think there is all that much line-art out there for the Eager. I'll post what I have when I get home today. As for official colors? I'd go with screen grabs for that. I'll see what I can rustle up (i.e. steal from the internet) when I get home as well. I will be all over these recasts if they are good. I got some recast Eagers as a bonus with a recast Gurab, and they were unworkable. This seems to be a differnet kit altogether, so I'm excited.
  5. I'm more interested in the Zeta movies than ZZ. I like some of the ZZ designs, but I've never heard anything that good about the show itself.
  6. I loved these things! They were small enough to fit in your pocket and play with in class without getting in trouble, and cheap enough that you could trade them with your friends like baseball cards. And the variety really appealed to me. Yeah, it was the variety and kookiness that I really loved. I don't think I ever managed to keep any accessories longer than a week though. My favorite had to be the squid.
  7. That's the textbook definition of damning with faint praise.
  8. They've taken enough liberties with the rest of the Legioss that I really don't mind the long nose. The intakes look worse in fighter mode than they do in battloid though. If they fix that I think it'll be a pretty good new take on the Legioss.
  9. I think the fact that it is made out of low-grade plasitc and transforms into a robot would prove that. I imagine it is the fact that it can LOOK like a gun which will cause you the most trouble.
  10. Looks like the Dread2 cockpit is the same one the Tread has.
  11. Like I've been saying, I am gonna keep the two seperate anyway, so even if they screwed the pooch with the mating it won't matter to me. I always thought both the Legioss and Tread looked better individually than they did together. There is that one image of a battloid Legioss armed to the teeth attached to a Tread which is an exception of course.
  12. That "Dread2" would, of course, be the star of the show anyway. Just like in Mospeada...
  13. Well, I just saw the movie. It was alright. Nothing special, not too bad either. The speeches and exposition nearly killed it though. Normally I prefer more dialogue in all my movies, but this was an exception. The choreography was nice, the cinematography was interesting, but the writing was terrible. At least I thought so. Could have been a better movie.
  14. If the inbit scans that were posted here (or the other Legioss thread) are associated with the same project it doesn't look much like a sequel. Maybe a re-telling or something, or an alternate universe sequel. Those inbit are organic, not piloted mecha, or at least the way they are presented make it look that way. I always liked the Mospeada characters and setting, but it was too episodic and could have used some streamlining. So I guess this is one of the few shows I wouldn't mind seeing "re-imagined."
  15. I love the old designs, but I am really liking these new versions as well. The Dread2 really looks like it belongs in the artmic designs of the 80s. The new Inbit however I do not like. I can see how people wouldn't like these, as they don't look quite like the originals. That's not stopping me though. From what little I've seen I'm already more excited than I was after seeing anything for Mac0.
  16. Probably just "HCM-sized." As far as I know every Eva kit/toy so far has simply been box scale. There isn't even an official consistant size to scale an Eva to as far as I can tell.
  17. They're not FSW. A straight leading edge won't impart FSW characteristics. I'd prefer a more typical swept wing myself as well however. The Dread2 looks too hot for me to care though.
  18. If it holds to the feel of the original I'd be more excited about this than the new Macross project.
  19. spirit fuel for the extra-dimensional protodevlin...works for me. An infinitely lamer story element than a general purpose energy source that everyone wants.
  20. Which one is super-cheesy? Robotech or Macross? I can't see calling one lamer than the other. That Macross music is so corny it hurts.
  21. Looks about right going by this: inbit2.bmp
  22. If someone is going to make Inbit mecha I'll be very pleased. One of my "holy grails." I hope those sketches are preliminary, because they are taking way too many liberties with my clean Inbit mecha.
  23. The Tread still looks like ass in fighter mode, but I'm liking it in robot. The connected pic has me worried though. That is nasty. Honestly, if there had to be sacrifices in the Tread to make THAT combination possible I wish they had just skipped it and given me a more accurate stand alone Tread.
  24. Protoculture as superfuel > Spiritia as superfuel
  25. There was an early PS2 game called Ring of Red which sounds like this. Never heard of any kits for it though.
