I've been looking for the past few days on ebay for a low vis, and the strange thing is that there haven't been any. About a week ago, they were just popping up one after the other. Now, I guess everyone is just holding on to it waiting for the value to go up. Or maybe there is going to be a reissue that we don't know about? Graham? Most unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Any thoughts?

Congratulations on becoming a soon to be father Graham. Just make sure that when your kid grows up, he won't want to touch your priceless macross toys. Get him or her a bootleg.

I think that the Alpha will do great. There is nothing else out there like it except for the old expensive models and gakken alphas, so Alpha fans will probably snatch these up like hotcakes. I don't know what to do. Wait til the price goes down, or pay full price. I was going to do that with the toynami bookends, but look how well it sold. And I think it's only been two months at the most and it's selling on ebay for about $400. It's ridiculous! Nothing Toynami sells this well. But I don't want the same thing happening with the Alpha cuz that would really piss me off if I'm waiting for the price to go down. What to do. What to do.

Thanks Rohby! I just got them today and I love em! This is my first time owning a recast of anything, and I have to give you props for such a great job. Great deal, great hands, great job. I would gladly buy more recasts from you. Any chance you have any 1/60 pilot recasts? If so, how much?

Thanks for all the replies guys. You've been a big help. I am lucky that the canopy did not split apart, but that there is a big crack running along it is what bothers me. It just sucks that everytime I look at my VF-1D or transform it, that crack is staring back at me, and it bothers me. I would love to get a replacement canopy, but I guess HLJ is pretty tough to order from. I have emailed them, so I'll just wait and see if they can accomodate me. Nobody out their has an extra canopy they want to sell?

I wish I could if I had the money. I'm already savin' up for the 1/48 Max and Millia!

Thanks Lynx7725. I've never gone through HLJ. I wonder how much it would cost for them to ship the canopy to the U.S.? Anyone ever order a replacement canopy from them. I wonder around how much it costs?

I was just putting away my Trainer when a little too much pressure cracked the canopy! After beating myself for a while, I calmed down and looked at it closely. That crack really bothers me. Anybody have an extra for sale or know if where I can get a replacement? I tried the VF-1A canopy because I had an extra, but it's too short! Please Help

I see the two going for $30 each on somebody's site. Somebody here had the link. I think Gundam Store.com or something. Anyway, I would totally pick these up for $30 a pop if I knew for certain that the other two would be reissued. And why didn't they make the Mylene and Vefidas Valk in that Scale? It doesn't seem complete that way.

So what's the most that you guys would pay for these reissue? I'm thinking about getting some, but still debating whether or not I should get them, or save up for yammie.

There's no need to hide our hobby from our girlfriends. Just don't tell them that you spent $700 on one order of yammies like I did! Then she'll always use it against you when she wants to go and have nice dinners all the time, and you say you can't afford it right now. Why cant she just have a salad? I'll have the 1/48 yammie with fast packs on the side. Hold the import fees please.

That's just wrong what your friend did. People should respect your property and treat it as if it was their own. I mean, how would he like it if I took something that meant a lot to him, messed it up on purpose, and laughed about it, trying to mess up something else of yours. That's just plain damn childish. Thinking about now is starting to tick me off again, but what can you do with those kind of ignorant people but cut off their hands. Just kidding. I'm not psycho.

Hey buffalobob77 welcome to MW. I know the feeling that you got. It's kind of awkwardat first, but who the hell cares. It's something that you love, and something to be proud of. That collection represents a part of you, so be proud to show it off. In addition to my macross stuff, I have all this Lakers Memorabilia and Posters all over the room, as well as HAD all these wrestling figures and wrestling sets. It was crazy. I sold all the wrestling stuff cuz I grew out of it, but kept all my other things. Just be sure that you have a lock on your display. I got soooooo pissed one time cuz my cousin took out my 1/60 max valk and attempted to transform it. Instead, he put a huge stress mark on the landing gear doors by pressing down on the wheels. I was so freakin mad, I don't let anyone touch my valks anymore. He even tried to transform my other ones and started shaking it around to mock and piss me off. I wanted to deck him so bad! People like that just don't understand that you need to be careful with these things and eventhough they are toys, they shouldn't be treated that way. Especially if it is someones property.

All I can say is Oh.................My..................Gosh! Are you sure that that's a picture of your room, or some big comics n stuff store? Where do you sleep?

I love the toys because they just look so damn cool! Just their design and look combined with the personality of the characters for each valk makes it the sweetest thing to own, because you own something you grew up with from your childhood. Sorry if that sounded corny, but its true.
