  1. Many, many thanks for all the scans. You've been marvellous.
  2. As for MPlus homages: the VF27 (from the official site) is an evolution of VF22. If you look at the pictures, the cockpit has no canopy - Ergo, this Valkyrie has a functioning neural interface. After all, Guld's experiment wasn't discarded. And this probably means that General Galaxy (see Macross Plus) is indeed the aircraft/science manufacture facility on-board Macross Galaxy.
  3. You must take into consideration fold travel. He is born in 2013 BUT he's 24 years old by 2040 (er....). That would explain why Max in 7 is soo good looking for a 50+ year Captain
  4. Nope, it is reversed. Look at the SMS sign on the leg
  5. I bow to your mighty , you are right!
  6. That was fun! Some are not errors: EP.04, 1930 (left cover is down in the first image, up in the second); EP.07, 1102 (there are two Galaxy ships: one is green, the other one is orange - the one that survives)
  7. Still no better scans of VF27 and Macross Quarter from Newtype?
  8. So, still no hi-res scans of VF27 and Macross Quarter?
  9. A thing just soared through my mind: do the time passes at all on Frontier? I'll explain. In EP 4 we may assume that Alto's training did not require just two days, but at least some months. But that's not the case, since Sheryl is deemed to leave Frontier in a week. So, alto was able to pilot a VF25 in (let's say) six days, more or less. Then there's episode 10. How long did the shooting of the movie take? Not just one day with a subsequent fisrt screening the night after they are finished, I imagine. Let's speculate that in 2059 it is very easy to assemble a movie, there should be at least 1 month of shootings and another one to edit the film. Instead, it just seems the whole product took only, let's say, six days from beginning to end. Amazing.
  10. Can someone post complete scans... pretty please??
  11. You guessed right . Did I miss something? Oh, and GG subs are out.
  12. Copy that. I want to vote for him!
  13. Am I the only one who thinks the combat sequence with the lion is a marvellous piece of experimental animation? Guess, so.
  14. I don't know you, but this episode gave me shivers of pleasure. Beautiful. Oh, ! The writers can do whatever they want. This series rock!
  15. Orihihc has just released Episode 9 subbed. That must be a record 7 groups working on the new Macross series in english (currently 6, if you exclude Gattai)
  16. Kawamori was not involved, but Studio Nue did the designs (if I remember correctly)
  17. Any chance to have some scans of those pretty illustrations? Pretty please?
  18. Just to clear any remaining doubts about the VF27 affiliation to Galaxy
  19. No, he's right, character animation was sub par this episode but... who cares! The show is amazing! Bobby is the man! Favourite Frontier character. I fear he will die a terrible death... Here you are other (clearer, even if still blurry) pics of Galaxy insigna on VF27. Now I'm curious: is there a VF26????
  20. For the same reason that made the twin barrels of the original Macross not to melt when they were firing. I think. It makes sense... sort of...
  21. ... but only time will tell On a side note, I'd like some insights on this thing:
