Well, we can still enjoy Macross in the biweekly Macross Chronicles . Ok, who wants a Macoss Frontier marathon tonight?

Battle Frontier barrier is very powerful IMO, they took hits from Vajra gunship as it was nothing and survive with some damage to its Macross Cannon gunship when it took full blast from Battle Galaxy Macross Cannon.

I was thinking about Macross Galaxy. AFAIK it was an imlplant-based colony launched from Eden, I think the main sponsor is General Galaxy backed up by Macross Consortium. Macross Consortium has been known for its many incident (Sharon Apple AI, Ghost X-9 incident). I think Macross Consortium want total domination from the first place (since circa 2040) starting with project Supernova. They introduce the unmanned Ghost X-9 as the replacement for he main VF at that time and it was proven superior compared with the other AVF prototype at that time. My speculation says that Macross Consortium are planning to use a backdoor program on the Ghost X-9 once its mass produced to gain control on UN Spacy. However this plan failed, so they proceed to the next plan. They asked permission from NUNS/UN Spacy to launch a colony fleet, in which they experiment with fold implant and also mass-produced Ghost V-9 and VF-27. So in short, Macross Consortium is the ultimate villain here. (my head hurts, thus explain this horrible post )

You mean E7 is not part of Macross?

I think Macoss Quarter attack list should be included the PPB bayonet-like and "Macross Attack" with the carrier arm and destroid squad. About Battle Galaxy, the shoulder cannons are much more bigger than the other NMC and also there are numerous ARMD/Guantanamo launch deck on the arm section.

I refuse to vote since to me, all Macross series are best compare to other anime in their time.

I wonder how Battle Galaxy loos like in Cruiser mode.

Macross Frontier is made for new generation of fan and oldschool fan, you can nearly see all previous Macross episodes on MF homages.

I just love how the Monster-Quarter-Frontier combo on the Battle Galaxy (1,450 combo hit achieved lol) and the finisher by Battle Frontier is awesome, someone should edit the scene to add hitpoints remaining to Galaxy when the combo attack commencing

The good point is, unlike other series, Battle Frontier and Quarter is spared from destruction. (SDF-1 wrecked in the final episode, Battle-7 destroyed in the final).

lol. you don't need to translate them all, the VF-25 spec on the top right corner should be sufficient. For higher scan I have to get my scanner first, I pull the previous pic from 1999.co.eng site.

Btw, I found there's more info on the VF-25F spec from the model kit instruction manual. Can someone translate them?
