I don't think there's one TOY that is a must have but I would say a Macross fan should at the very least have the Animeigo Macross SDF TV set in some form. Aside from that, buy what you like and be happy.

I assume you mean the transformable ones. Banpresto did make other non-transformable SD valks. I guess I should have waited and gotten mine for $5. I love the little transformable guys. Yes, they are frustrating but they are the first Macross toy that I feel comfortable customizing.

Yup, this topic does pop up at least twice a year and it's funny because everyone words it the same way. I really like my Yamato YF-19. Something about it brings me a lot of joy. Of course if my house was burning down I would probably grab my Bandai Hikaru Strike Valkyrie so I could sell it and start over. (This could change since I have yet to open any of my 1/48s or my MP Prime.)

I swear that a few months ago someone had posted a nice step by step guide to customizing Bandais. I can't find it through the forum search and was wondering if someone kept a copy of it. Unfortunately, I don't remember who wrote it. If you have it can you post it or e-mail it to me? Thanks.

Strike is my preference. I prefer things to be close to canon but doesn't always matter to me. Something about a cannon over a shoulder seems cool to me. Especially in battroid.

I saw this and needless to say I was freaking impressed!!! He gets free guys by constantly bouncing off of everything in succession. Not only does he not die but he doesn't get hit by anything and there are plenty of opportunities for it the way he plays. All I have to say is....this guy had waaaay too much time on his hands.

That looks like a really well done custom. Now that I see the entire Minmay guard details though i think it's kind of an obnoxious scheme. I prefer things that are more subtle, but that is a GREAT job. Good work.

I haven't heard anything yet from Blasto about my two Primes on pre-order, but I wouldn't worry though. The only thing that could go wrong is that the distributor cuts his orders short. Will is a good guy and I've never had any problems with him. Aside from that, I want to find a Hasbro Smokescreen so I can keep my Takara nice and pristine. Help!
