I left out of this thread until i finished watching it and....I really liked Area 88. 1stly, a few corrections. This is the TV series, not the OVA. The OVA is older and I have yet to watch that. Gunslinger Girl anime is only 2 (or 3) books into the manga. So it ends where book 2 ends for now. Expect more in the near future. Ah, I didn't know that about Gunslinger Girl, but the 13 episodes that I saw don't make me want to watch more of it. As for your question about the ending I assumed it was because he needed to buy a new plane.

That Gundam is different than the one I saw on Saturday in the exhibit hall. I don't know much about Gundam but it was pretty similar except it was more white instead of red.

Hurin, it's kind of you to give that stuff to the kid but I'd be afraid that you're reinforcing that kind of behavior. Hopefully, you won't have to see the kid again.

Yeah, Batman Beyond clearly shows this when everyone thinks that old Bruce is going crazy with voices in his head. Of course, even as Bruce Wayne, he calls himself Batman and not Bruce so he knew he wasn't crazy.

I was going to rotate my avatar as AX got closer this year but I decided why bother, it's not going to get much better than her. I think it was Crazy Canuck that had a website with a Custom MW scheme. There was also other canon schemes (that he said weren't true canon but close enough) and a few other custom schemes including a James Bond one. Any of the older members have a link to the site?

B:TAS was a great show with great characterization. If you like the JL Batman, you'll like this one much better. The stories more interesting and better written. Heck there are episodes where Batman doesn't even make much of an appearance....of course they got in trouble for that. I still think that WB should have handed over the Batman movie franchise to Paul Dini, Bruce Timm and the crew.

That's pretty cool. I've always wanted to build a track when I was into the whole Bit Char-G scene. The track gave me some ideas for other stuff though. Anyone know where to get foam core stuff?

Pat, I didn't notice the ring. At the time I may not have noticed a lot of things. I didn't see a guy with her either. I would have put my arms around her but she just finished telling the guy before me to get off of her and not touch her. When I went up to her I joked for her to not worry because I wouldn't touch her....so she touched me. That's my shoulder! The really funny part about the day is that I didn't want to go to AX but my friend got me to go as he was joking about someone cosplaying as a DOA beach volleyball character. I didn't think it was possible but sure enough there she was.

I can't see the picture. I was just at a Wal-mart too. If I had known about these I would have looked for it.

Not the best Rei, but I liked her attitude.
