Yeah, Grimlock as a car is just weird.
It is nice to at least see a variation on the transformation though. Even if it is pretty minor. Of course when they tried to make it really different (Sideswipe) everyone thought it looked lame.
Yeah, Bobe-Patt, I get on that. Thanks, man!
Solscud, the bookstore in Little Tokyo isn't there anymore. I went about a month ago to look for some stuff and it was gone. I'm not sure if it just moved or if it just closed down.
He started out by saying that he was going for more of a Adam Hughes look rather than Mikimoto. I think, considering the style change, it's a great Misa. It IS very different from what we're used to but it's nice to change it up.
Now get back to work with those colors!
Now that the bookstore in Mitsuwa is gone I don't know where to get this stuff. Any LA-area MWers know where we can pick this up? Exo? Bobe-Patt? Solscud?
Well, the production values did seem pretty good for a fan film but as for WB turning over the franchise to these guys, h-e-double hockey sticks-no!
Yeah, as a trailer it looked good since it was all action scenes but could it really hold itself up as a 2 hour movie. I don't know. One of the things that really irked me was that it seemed like everyone and their mother knew who Batman and Robin were. And why would DICK GRAYSON have a picture of Batman and Robin in his house?! (Lame) Nice way to keep your alter ego secret. It's not like he's Spider-man/Peter Parker. And what's with the cheesy portrait of Batman that Gordon is looking at. ugh.
that might have been funny if I hadn't heard somewhere that they're actually plants...
but then again, hearsay is never accurate :-p
Yeah, I seem to remember hearing something like that at one point.
Later episodes in the FX set seem to use some fan subs because the translation is better....plus I think they are exactly the same as the fansubs I have. Can't be sure as I'm too lazy to bust out my VHS tapes.
Ugh. Live action. Why live action? Leave the humans out of this and just make it an ANIMATED movie about the war on Cybertron. Hmmm...I missed it but they didn't say it'd be G1 did they?
(Suddenly I'm left thinking about the scene in the Clerks cartoon where a car transforms into a robot with passengers still inside, killing them all. Morbid, I know but funny still.)
I got lucky with my timing. I actually knew one. Hmm...I haven't been keeping up with this thread so hopefully, I don't repeat a question....
In Naruto, how are Neji and Hinata related?
They are starting the new Shadow Force show next year so if it's not crap then interest in the toys could actually be at an all time high. (I don't want to start to even think about the quality of the show so let's not start that.) There's all this interest now with just the DVDs being released. Imagine if there's new material and if the alpha and beta play prominent roles then I'm sure there will be more people wanting toys to continue the line.
If it's at least two years for a beta then does that mean we might get cyclones in the meantime?
nope, the Prime 00 only comes with binder. Not without. Maybe on ebay you can find a seller who's just selling the prime.
I thought some of the sellers at F&S had a binder version for $100 and a non-binder version for like $70 when they first came out. Maybe they were just trying to sell the binder separately or something. Oh well, thanks for the info Pat.
I asked him the same question and it's wire in the hem of the skirt.
Ah, this is old news. I've already seen it. Just kidding. Great work. More people need to make customs of the characters.
