What's a good, free, all in one program that's easy to use for a beginner? I would use MS paint but it doesn't have the snap to point function where you can start a new line from the end point of a previous line. I have trouble placing lines where another one left off.

If the vertical stabilizer were bigger they have to make the leg/ engine nacelle bigger so it can slide into place and not have it stick out. I think it's a compromise to make a sleek fighter.

I don't think it has anything to do with structural integrity since you just remove the gear and close the doors. I don't imagine this kit to be very heavy either.

Well the the landing gear bay doors open to allow the nose cone to fold into. If the doors are too far back (near the canopy), the nose cone won't reach. I think the inconsistency is due to animation errors.

I think there's a market for these. There's a lot of fighter enthusiasts who it either stuck with small scale display pieces or models. Not everyone can build models and I sure as hell won't be satisfied with a small fighter. Maybe instead of it being a part of the GNU line, they can start a similar line that focus on detail and gimmicks of the fighter instead of articulation of a battroid. How big would a YF-19 be in GNU scale?

You might want to update the VF-25's "Accommodation" to pilot and optional passenger.
