Why isn't the Super 1J canon? If Hikaru wasn't such a screw up, his 1J would've survived untill the time Fast Packs were around. And I doubt there wasn't anyone with that color scheme flying around at that time. If Max and Mirias 1J can have Fast packs.... so could Hikarus.

The funny thing is.... BW seems to be basing all sequels and prequels on DYRL not SDF. Just look at the new Macross game.... its DYRL based. Macross 7 was DYRL based, and Macross Zero might be DYRL based too.

here, here on that! on the old forums, people always said this was Macross World. i think a gundam forum here would prove disruptive and tend to attract the CN crowd around here, potentially creating more troubles. Yep... and they would poop on the Macross section of the forums.

Last I heard Best Films had the license, but that was awhile ago and now everyone is unsure who put it out. One thing we're positive of, HG never got to lay a hand on it. Then why isn't someone going after it? Don't tell me Bandai is going to bring Macross over and not release DYRL. <_<

Technology perhaps? This looks to me like a "jumping" destroid... thats why the legs are like that. Perhaps the impact is lesser with the legs bent like that under atmosphere. You never see the SDF Macross destroids jumping around. They are mostly stationary. Also... look at the big vernier thruster on its back. It seems to me like this is a long range interceptor Destroid.

I still wonder why no boot company bothered to make a SDF Macross boot ripped from the Animeigo box set. <_

They are R1 ripped boots. Theres also a Ruroni Kenshin boot available with english dubs and everything else the official R1 release had.

Someone asked about a possible Freespace sequel, and the editor blurted out something about Volition working on XWing now. I remember something on gamespot too. I think it is one of those "unannounced" annoucements.

There was a file released a while ago that was supposed to up Freespace graphics.... or I guess I was smoking something strong. <_<

It was I. It wasn't a rumor. Voalition is working on the new X Wing game for Lucasarts. For some reason, Lucasarts opted to not use Totally Games on their Star Wars simulation franchises..... TG is currently working on "Secret Weapons over Normandy" game for Lucasarts.
