I'm considering buying it.... and the ugly seam line stood out as an sore thumb when I got the 1s.... so bad... I gave it aways because I wasn't sure anyone would buy something so ugly. <_<

Because Volition and Outrage were trading off duities. Parallax did Descent 1 and Descent 2, then they split into Outrage and Volition. Volition did Descent Freespace and Freespace 2 while Outrage worked on Descent 3. Then, it became Voliton's turn to do Descent 4, but they decided to basically kill the series and make RF. Outrage is now basically dead as far as I know. Last I heard, Volition was going to release what they had done with D4 to the public to let the Descent community develop their own D4. It's been awhile since I heard anything though. Vostok 7 Whatever. Volition could very well work on DC4 as they have released nothing but crap since FS2. RF sucked, Summoner is a mediocre series, and so are both respective sequels.

Any word on whether Yamato plans on doing something about that noticeable face seam line on the Hikaru 1s?

The chances of the VF0D to be released first are pretty good. If Macross Zero isn't very popular in Japan, I don't see why yamato wouldn't want to release the main character fighter first. Sure the VF0S is one heck of a hunky fighter..... but the VF0D is still the main character fighter.

i believe the -21/-22 has a special suit just for it (but Millia's VF-1 suit worked fine in M7) Thats called fan-service. Millia fans would cry havok if they were to shove Milian into a cluttered flight suit. <_< *waits for Vostok to agree*

You do realize that you can set the AI behavior to avoid things like that? Just set it to "far". Or... you can be good enough and not be bothered by it. Seriously... I played the DC version, had no clue what was going on, and my allies still didn't get in the way. I guess besides dumbing down the graphics.... I guess Bandai dumbed down the AI too for the PS2. <_<

The Monster Konig is the best looking destroid.... but then again its a hybrid. I would say the Mac Zero and the other destroid that resembles it.

I doubt it. The head isn't very AC like... and neither is that weird white tube on its back.
