Hopefully they will have Ez8 variations to boot.

One of the reaction missile platic stub broke on my 1/60 VF1S.

I still like AC... its the best most reliable mech game out there. As far as evolution goes.... I don't want something out of the window... I want something that ppl will stop and say "Damn... this is a cool new feature!", something that will set it apart from the many sequels and add ons. As far as Aces go... I guess its just a matter of preference. Energy weapons are better because you won't have to worry about running out of Ammo. With a decent rifle... you can still strafe and what not without worrying about consumption. I guess it all comes down to how well you can use the background for your advantage. As for the medium legs.... beats me. I use them just as a matter of preference. I don't really like quad legs or heavy legs, unless I change my weapons load out and require the use of them. But then again... I don't consider myself an Ace.

In the series? We see 2 different paint schemes. All green and the one with two shades of green. Huh? Paint schemes? I thought he was talking about how many fit inisde the Daedalus during the Daedalus attack.
-
Amusing.... specially considering the old on had 999 PM limit. And I never really deleted some of the crap there.

I think a 1/60 Daedalus bow would be a little too big to be affordable, unless it's made out of cardboard. How many monsters fit into it during a Daedalus attack? According to my calculations, it would be at least a yard wide. Doesn't the Spartan carry a club? Some pictures make it look kind of high-tech (an overtechnology club?) but it's simply described as "metal club". Nanashi's reference As for price, if they're 1/60, I think they should cost about the same as a 1/60 Valk, maybe as much as a 1/60 Valk with FAST packs if there are a lot of extras (like removable missiles). We only see 1 monster (or was it 3?) inside the daedalus. A 1/60 Daedalus would be gigantic... specially to fit a 1/60 monster.

http://www.the-magicbox.com/game082603c.htm Its going to include everything from Gundam, Getta Robo and Evagelion. Its supposed to be real time like Zeonic Front... in fact... it being developed by the Zeonic Front team. Looks pretty good so far.

I remember someone told me back some time ago that the Destroids would have articulation on the level of todays standards... how much of it was true is anyones guess.
-
Oh yeah.... Necrid is still crap. It looks like an action figure not a fighter. It doesn't fit at all.

I got the import game cube version. I played the Xbox version too, found Spawn to be extremely cheap and over powered. I found Link to be the better specific character. Seems like namco took their time to put Link in... unlike Heihachi and Spawn.

I remember a member here had save stats for the game after he had beat it. I don't remember who though.

Nope. Everytime we have VF1 "stored" the back pack is set up like in Gerwalk mode, and the wings are fully closed. The other VF that can do that is the VF19.... but it does that in full speed, and theres no folding anything (other then the wings)

Macross Zero episode 3 street date (tentative)
Abombz!! replied to azrael's topic in Movies and TV Series
Thats alot of waiting if you ask me. Its almost 2004. -
Dancing Skull squadron was basically him and Millia. Considering they were ace pilots, they got dibs on just about every new fighter. The Algenicus was the Dancing Skull squadron flag ship in M3. But how much is that game cannon anyway? I don't see a ship of that class in Macross 7.... plus that whole giant bug thing was pretty... odd to say the least. Actually, I thought the giant bug thing was pretty cool in M3. I've always liked the idea of mecha fighting bugs, ala Starship troopers (the book, not the crappy movie). I thought the bugs in the opening movie of MS were great. It's just a pitty they were so poorly done in the actual game Graham They were pretty cool in the intro.... but during the game they were pretty odd. Specially the giant fly you fight in one of the levels.
-
I'm pretty sure that the events in M3 are canon as they are covered in the Macross Compendium Chronology. Graham Certain events are. Like the level you play with a VF11 for the first time... thats actually an historical event and what got the VF11 to be mass produced. Other levels like that weird egypt like level.... I doubt it. <_<

The only gimmick I want for the Q-rau is the ability to stand on its own. Alll pictures have the Q-rau on transparent blocks to keep it standing on its own... which really worried me.
-
One thing I don't understand though. Ppl raved at how you could have 2 ACs at the same time this time around (in AC3) but I remember that in AC2 you could do the same thing. As far as ACs go.. I like to go medium. I find heavy mechs to be too slow, and light mechs to be too weak. I usually go with beam weaponry and missile back weapons. Blades have priority over back weapons for me... so I usually have wave blades instead of back weapons... unless I can use an over weight AC.

Defenetly! Now a days pre-orders are essential. Some toys come out... and you don't see them available again for months if ever. If you are a fan, and can't wait for something (which I assume you can't, otherwise you would be asking), then pre-order is the way to go.
-
Nope. The endings are standard issues action game endings. Nothing extra ordinary. But then again... if you are a fan of the game, you will probably want to see them.

ewwwww sorry, couldn't be helped. Between the discussions in TV and Movies about (ass) rips of Mac 7 and the Mann Release vs. Vaseline discussion on Valkyrie-exchange, it's hard to keep my mind out of the gutter. Seriously though, cool gimmicks versus pricetag will be a big factor. Destroids just aren't as popular among non-hardcore Macross lovers as Valkyries are. Personally, I'd like more enemy mecha too. Where's my Regult dammit? Don't expect anything lower the $100. It seems to be the "standard" price tag for everything now a days.

The MAs are unlockable in the DC version of the game. The only thing missing was the Mission mode that was only present in the PS2 version. Oh really? So which MAs are unlockable in the DC version, and how do you unlock them? Destroy them on normal mode, and something else. It worked when I destroyed the Elmeth but didn't when I destroyed the Big Zam. Which ones? Beats me, I have only seen the Elmeth and the Big Zam so far.... I don't know which ones are in the game.

The 2 episodes I saw on CN were pretty good.... and the dub was surprisingly standable.

If you go to the top and click on My Assistant, you can get to a list of all the moderators. You'll notice that Aidank, 4scaflowne(sp?), and Yoshi are all MIA... I knew about Aidan. Yoshi is not a mod. Escaflown4 I saw online a few days ago... but he is not listed as a mod anymore.

Make them RC, with noise making thingys, maybe some cool catch phrases and stuff. j/k As far as the mentioned gimmicks... I think those are given. They are pretty standard as far as destroids go. I would honetly expect no less from a $100 toy.
