Well, the next Gundam is a sequel to SEED, that's already been confirmed. It's unlike they'd start another new series, but hey... you never know. As for 0083, Kawamori only did design work on that... I got the impression from the original post that Kawamori is involved with this new series at a creative level. But hey, you never know! According to Bandai.... a new series aimed for the hardcore fans is due out late 2004 around the time the second Seed show is over.

You say you are a fan or Record of Lodoss War? Then it won't hurt to check the TV series out.

I'd like to see that, maybe poke around the Macross's origin a little, but still keeping it a mystery like the Millenium Falcon's origins. Maybe also show the beings Zentraedi like Millia, Britai, Kamujin, etc. were cloned from. But it wouldn't have variable mechs.... so it wouldn't be as fun.

More interesting.... will everyone who worked on it be credited or will they just stick a big "HG" sticker on it and leave it at that? <_<

Correct me if I'm wrong...but there was no dispute until HG started making a fuss over the Macross Plus toys, was there? DYRL, Macross II, Macross Plus? They were all licensed by Big West to north American companies with no problems. It wasn't until the debacle over the Macross Plus toys and the VF-X 2 game that HG claimed thier ownership of Macross, and Big West took Tatsunoko to court over it. Plus, company employees aren't supposed to express their opinions over legal disputes, in case their words are misused by either the press or their opponents. Well... for one Mikimoto isn't an employee of BW, neither is Kawamori. They are both free to say what they want. If they were really emplyees... BW would have been involved in Escaflowne and the many other projects Kawamori was involved. The fact that HG started blocking Macross stuff in the US doesn't change the fact that BW did nothing to prevent that. But then again... this is a HG debate thread topic.

Nope... you are the one unable to head there. They are a one hit wonder because the link you gave showed me they had more Macross shows then anything else. So what Taylor was successful? All their other exploits outside Macross failed, except for Taylor, but they didn't pursue Taylor any further (if someone else did, good for them). Case closed. Yep... without Gundams inspiration, and their experienced gained working on MSG, it would have been called Battle City Megaroad. Case closed. But then again the project was there, so inspiration was the only big part on it. You put words in my mouth by saying I said Tomino created Macross. I could care less. You said the best Gundam is model Sentinel. There is no model Sentinel, I corrected you. There are S Gundam, EX-S Gundam, FAZZ, Z Gundam C1 and A1..... I don't see any model called Sentinel, do you? <_< Oh and BTW... you ignorance towards the Sentinel novel really defeats your argument about you liking the models and designs, as the Sentinel novel is the ultimate source of Gundam designs and details. mainly about the one you consider to be the best Gundam around.... the S Gundam. If you really liked designs and models you would own one. P.S. Perhaps you are oblivious to the fact.... but the S in S Gundam stands "Superior" not Sentinel. They didn't care.... took them close to 20 years to dispute the ownership of SDF Macross, because the west market showed signs of being worthy, I call that not carring. If you know so much about it.... then how come Kawamori doesn't give a crap about HGs shady business? Onyl Mikimoto showed any sort of discontent with how things are handled here. Yes... before joining the army Hikaru was just like Amuro. The difference was that Kawamori decided to kill whatever angst her had by turning him into an Ace pilot. Yeah so? It still shows clear signs of milking. If the show had been shown in 1 month... then it wouldn't have been popular. I'm not even going there because you acting dumb once again. I agree. As for the Hikaru paint scheme... gah! How the heck are they doing this then? Are they going to make a great mix up and tell the SDF story with DYRL designs or what? Or is it just a paint scheme you unlock?

Considering how Bandai usually releases 1 good guy MS and 2 bad guy MSs or the other way around.... the GP02 might as well be the candidate for the next PG. YOu know what that means? The box will most likely be the size of that of the HGUC Dendobrium!

Perhaps because Zero is done... with animating it being the only thing missing. Nah , that´s OK , he´s done a lot of research and has a good team. What I´m talking about is that he should at least supervise the production of M0 until it ends. Perhaps he hand picked his team, and has full confidence on them. And besides... you know how talented ppl are, they have plans stacked in their bedrooms.... SK probably had this new show already lined up or something.

I am going to watch the rest of it.... simply because its Macross... and becuase I know theres still a chance that I might come to enjoy it. Blame that on Tomino and Bandais inability to get along. <_<

Well, humans vs aliens is far from being attractive.... but in Macross case, it was original appealing and interesting. I guess its rooted to the fact that I dispise humans vs humans as a whole no matter the setting. He did convince me it was the prequel to SDF Macross, it just didn't interest me. Like I said.... Macross Zero has its merits, just not the right ones to appeal to me. I don't have a biased idea as to what Macross should be. I was looking for Zero to be a different experience then SDF and DYRL, like Plus was. It was different, but something else was missing. I don't think Macross should be always about the same thing, but as a fan, I have the right to make a judgement on it based on my own anime standards, I won't give it special treatment because its a franchise I enjoy. I enjoy the full picture of what Macross is... I just feel Macross Zero does nothing to increase my enjoyment. Just as many fans chose not to like Macross 7 and sitll enjoy the full picture behind Macross. My disliking for Macross Zero has nothing to do with it being different from SDF Macross or DYRL. If anything.... was it to be similar to Macross... I wouldn't have liked it even more. As for Japanese fans and Gundam... they did get bored, one show was nearly cancelled, and the other wasn't popular at all. The old series were interesting... the new ones are not. The new ones attract a different audience.... like 2 different groups. You need to watch Gundam.... and then you will realize the old shows aren't all the same BS like you seem to think.
