I guess it would be.... because Destroids aren't able to fly. To have 2 different units for air engagement and ground engagement would mean twice the amount of resources relocated to the war effort. Instead.... they build 1 unit that could do both in above average performance. I doubt they had anyways of keeping Destroids up in the air for very long. And while missile interception might be very effective, it is not nearly as effective as sending out units to battle enemies right in the air. Even the Zentradi Power Armors weren't really that effective in atmosphere, and I doubt any Q-Raus were found in the crashed SDF. Its all about saving costs and space I guess.

As long as Bandai uses something in lines of the ZOE engine..... Ecounters in Space could be one of the best mech games to date.
-
They look really nice!!! But are they supposed to be SD?
-
It looks alittle like the VF19.
-
Is there anyone who actually likes any of the new designs?
-
You better believe that!! If Yamato doesn't make that their first VF0 release..... I'm burning down their HQ. B)

Agreed. One thing I don't like about Tartakovsky.... he loves to make his characters "sharp". B)- 1217 replies

In my opinion... it looks too "form fitting" to be a GPB armor. Look at the GPB1 and the VF11 GPB.... they look like fricking boxes stacked on certain points of the VF. If you take the GPB0.... give it a helmet with a mono-eye.... you get a Zaku or a Geara Doga. B)

That does look Gundam at all. UNless you change the VF11 head to something more "human" like.
-
Actually... its looks like one of the MSs in Gundam Wing. <_< Its not bad at all.... just not very macross like.
-
Hmm..... are you alright?
-
If I didn't know better.... I would say that was a Gundam.
-
I know that. My post was aimed towards the group of ppl who tend to complain too much about the sub qualitys on bootlegs, not at someone in particular.
-
You never have to listen to a dubb.... its your choice to listen to it or not, so stop complaining about it. As for the Manga... those who actually enjoy reading it... I would suggest picking up the bilingual Japanese manga. I'm not sure if it was ever finished (I heard something about the publisher dropping it because ppl were using it for the wrong reasons, go figure), but it was meant for students who were learning english... so the translation is extremely literal, unlike anything you will ever find in the US.

You are sooooo wrong! What made the longest thread attractive... was that it had no topic! You could talk about whatever you wanted.
-
Gah! Theres.... a book.... for it?!?!?!?!

If I remember well... it was either the Saturn version or the PSX version that had serious glitches. Capcom took most copies back and said they would rerelease the fixed game... but never got around to it. Well hell, they can release the fixed version with a third Megaman collection! Hmm... this thread is starting to to look like this: Mike says something. Abombz!! replies. Mike replies to Abombz!! Abombz replies to Mike. Mike replies to Abombz!! Abombz replies to Mike. Mike replies to Abombz!! Abombz replies to Mike. LOL... I guess you were right.... Megaman fans are very few. At least we are keeping it on topic.

Who the hell listens to dubs anyway? More ppl then you can imagine. More ppl enjoy watching something dubbed then watching it subbed.... and you know that very well.

Heh...if Lucas had made Phantom Menace (or something resembling it) in 1977 instead of New Hope, I guarantee you that half the members of this board would have grown up sleeping in Darth Maul jammies, while sleeping between Jar Jar sheets. Don't even forget the fanboys who would sleep hugging Queen Amidalas pillow.

Yep... and if you consider that Wesker worked for Umbrella too... it makes STARS even more part of Umbrella. No way, S.T.A.R.S. was a Racoon City Police Dept. Unit. Mayor Warren,Chief Irons and Wesker were Umbrella pawns and agents respectively, that just makes the S.T.A.R.S. unit suckers, pawns or big dummies at best. But most certainly not a branch of the Umbrella Corp. See HERE for more details. -b. I know... I was just following Dr. Kain line of thought. -
You are right... but then again... that won't stop the most vocal fanboys from make a big deal out of it... or even going to great lengths to stop him.

Thats quite a milking if you ask me... enough to make Bandai and its Gundam milking techniques a run for their money.

Or, in typical fighter-jock-bravado-style, he just figured: "It's just a scratch. . . i'm going to get laid!" Which, to my mind, is more the Foker style. That would be right.... if it wasn't for the morbid look on his face. He was in pain and he knew it.

I don't think he would dare..... we are talking about mass riots here!!
