Abombz!!

Like I said... I got the first 3 books for Xmas.... liked what I read, and bought the rest of them. I could careless about EU or anything SW other then the old trilogy. I'm not looking into reading more of EU, or the prequels at that. I read Eps 2 book... and was surprised at how much better it was compared to the movie. I'm only reading NJO because it crossed my path.... not that I went out of my way to get it. As for Jar Jar.... I don't mind him at all. What I mind is the extremely dull script (EPS 1), insane amount of unnecessary fan service (EPS 2) and over use of special FX (both movies).

Who cares about the color of her oufit? Yes... its flashy... but chances are.... by the time you see her outfit, you are probably dead.

LOL! There are far worse things in EU than 1000 Jar Jar Binx's. I take it you've never read The Crystal Star, or The New Rebellion, or even Darksaber? Like I said.... this is the first, and probably only, EU series I've read.

Who the hell listens to dubs anyway? More ppl then you can imagine. More ppl enjoy watching something dubbed then watching it subbed.... and you know that very well. And such people obvoiusly don't care what crap voices they're listening to anyway. Its not that.... its just that they find it more imersible to hear and understand what the characters are saying (bad voices or not) then listen and have to read what the characters are saying. Sorry... I can't take your statement seriously about the new game, when you say the worst Gundam game to date (if not the worst ever anime based game) is the second best Gundam game. <_<

Blech! Now I'm more glad than ever that I stopped reading EU. Which book was it from? Edit: oh wait, I remember now. He's from that stupid New Jedi Order book, "Rebel Stand" where the heros go back to Coruscant and find some stupid cyborg Jedi and a lame-ass "force well." I was already sick of EU halfway through the NJO story arc, but when I read the synopsis of this one I quit reading EU and never looked back. The New Jedi Order will kill off EU, mark my words. lol.... I kind of like the series.... though I have nothing to compare it to. And besides... I find it more enjoyable to sit through 2 days of NJO then 30 minutes of EPs 1 or 2. <_<

Never heard of him. You must have scraped the bottom of the EU barrel to find that reference. Where did you hear it? In a book. It turns out this Lord Nyax is a 11 foot tall dark jedi with 30 lightsabers attached to him, the power to use the force to fly and hurl unusually large things at ppl. Talk about over kill!!

OT questions for the more knowladgeable(is this even a word?) SW fans. Who exactly was Lord Nyax? At first I thought he was SW version of the boogy man... but then it turns out he was Darth Vader when he used to kidnap force sensitive kids during the war. But then.... theres a cult that worships Lord Nyax.... . . . . Who or What the heck is he?

Sure... to a certain extent. I guess they could've taken the time they got for only puttin 1 variant (with wrong stats at that) to add some interesting story and actually fun missions. I seriously hope they learned their lesson... and make this new game at least fun to play. <_<

I TOTALLY disagree. Sure, VF-X was bad, and VF-X2 takes some getting used to. I'll give one point to Battlecry for having better control, and another for having better graphics. But, VF-X2 has more VFs, a way better story, and more interesting missions. I mean, I haven't really played BC since it first came out, but what I remember the most was a truckload of enemies attacking the stadium from all sides, and only me to protect it... not fun. I mean, I like it when a game is challenging, but when I think I'd rather work part time at Wal-Mart (because at least I'd get paid for that), something needs to be done. Don't forget the unusual amount of baby sitting missions! Sure, but that one was by far the worst. I mean, yeah, VF-X2 didn't have the best controls or the prettiest graphics. But from what I can tell, the story is OVA quality, and I do love to fly the VF-17 and the VF-22. Protect the cats eye was the worst mission in that game. Don't even get me started on that mission you had to protect Hiro.... thanks god we didn't actually need to beat it. <_<

Flying around in a Zeta or the Super Gundam with ZOE's controls... ::drools:: Is the Ball in it? EiS has TWO Balls. (That didn't come out good, did it?) The regular kind from the TV series, and then the one from the beginning of the 08th MS Team. AEUG vs. Titans doesn't have any Balls. Lets not forget the GM Juggler.... it had 2 balls..... errr.... that didn't come out right either, did it? Now that would be a nice addition to the game.

Actually, they did spring to mind, but I wasn't sure how much characterzation they received. Was it as little as the Astray girls, shouting each others names and such inspirational things like 'We won't be defeated!'? Something like that. I guess you could say they were more mature, kind of like accepting they would be defeated eventually.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just post it in the other scif-fi and anime thread? I love horror movies.... the trashier the better. Specially sci-fi horror movies. Some of my favorites are John Carpenter's The Thing, Alien, Aliens and Leviathan. I also like some of those super psycho horror movies like Friday 13th (if you mention Nightmare in Elms street you are going the right way for a smacked bottom ), IT and such. I also don't neglect a good comedy, although I have an easier time listing comedy animes then live-action movies. Out Cold was one of those "nonsense" comedies that really hooked me lately. I also like some of Kevin Smiths stuff.... he is pretty funny. And of course... Shrek! [EDIT] But any genre of movie will do.... as long as its not too touchy feely.... I really hate romances.... and I specially hate chick flicks.

Can you say.... the Shriek Squadrom from V Gundam? They all died.... we never got to know anything about them other then them being glorified CFs.

Its not Shinobi 4.... thats the main character of a spin off Shinobi game. Her name is Kunoichi... and thats also the name of the game. It will use an improved Shinobi engine.... but it won't have anything related to Shinobi in the game itself. Kunoichi, eh...The screen caps are tight. Any release dates for here in the states? Next year probably. Its not out in Japan yet.

Hey Subotnik? Is the Unit 01 (from Evangelion) on your shelf a toy or model? It looks pretty darned big standing next to those other figures, and I still can't find a Unicron in the Bay Area (not that I've been checking that much).
