The monkey family was running around the Dunes too! They had like a lv 70 beast master with them.... really weird. And Effect.... I tried looking you up on POL, and all I could find was a japanese guy with the handle Effect.

Thats a full set of bone armor. It looks like old stuff, because just like everyother armor in the game, its just a recoloring of the lv1 brass set.

Actually... you are not paying for the size, you are paying for the little blocks that will keep that thing standing on its own. It was nice how hlj "erased" them from that picture, because that thing sure as hell can't stand on its own. Aside from that.... I have a pair of mullets ready to support 1 of them.

Some ppl will just disband the party without saying anything. It sucks, but oh well. It was kind of funny, in the afternoon, its much easier to get into parties then at night. Today, there were around 5 WHMs looking for party.... uncanny! I also got into a party with 2 japanese players today, so I really don't see where all this "the japanese suck!" stuff comes from. <_<

2003 sucked.... and I bet 2004 will be even worse! 5.5 hours, and counting.

Party is pretty fun.... and funny. I was in a party today, and I pulled a lv17 tough crab. We were kicking its ass, chaining the heck out of it, untill it started kicking our ass. Seriously, in less then 1 minute, the mages were dry and all tanks were with red HP. Instead of running for a zone, everyone just stood there saying "Whoa! Is that the same crab?!?!". To add insult to injury, after 1 benediction, a bogy decided it was a good idea to join in the fun. Easy to say, we dropped like flies. I just hope all you guys have macros set. They are fun, and make partying a blast. And Yosho... I'm lv 17 too, so if you are online, send me a tell and we can party together. ANd as for your damage, thats a Red Mage for you. Even with a flame claymore, I do random demage from 10 to 50, and I'm usually to highest lv member in a party. P.S. I got a link pearl yesterday. The guys in it are funny.

In japan you can play AC on LAN if I'm not mistaken.

Lets hope the game will look as nice as those screen shots. And lets hope its alittle better then the last AC offering.

You should have followed our advice and joined in a server with MW ppl in it. Finding parties is pretty easy. All you have to do is walk around an area with the "seek party" sign on. If you have all Macros set, and you are a good support character, you won't have trouble finding parties. Trust me, I was afraid of it too in beginning, I got in a few great parties, and now I have the time of my life in them. As for character interaction, you do know that ppl with a little "bag" beside their names are having bazaars set up, right? You can check them and then choose to check their inventory and buy whatever they have to offer. It might be in your server, but theres plenty of interaction in Unicorn. I even got tells from newbie japanese players asking for tips. If you want real character interaction..... be a white mage. Seriously, at certain times of the day, ppl will literally kill themselves to have you in their parties.

The Colony? If it wasn't for that big fag Rodman... it wouldn't have been half bad. But its sequel.... theres no emoticon that would help me express how awful it was. <_<

Red Mages are fun? Maybe. But that fun doesn't last very long. For now you can hit anything with a sword, but as soon as you get beyond lv16 you won't be dealing damage at all, because the sword lv cap is pretty low on a Red Mage.

Oh? You mean "mages"? Thats a great idea indeed. Wait till they start casting Stone at you, one after the other.... that will be a ton of fun indeed. <_<

WTF is the matter with Square? Why se the outpost transport system lv cap to 20? Why would a lv20 character want to pay for transport when he/she will most likely already have a chocobo? It makes no sense! Why not let low lv characters use it? Aren't they the ones who suffer the most having to walk so damn far to sell off stuff and lv up? I'm lv16 right now.... and I have do 1hour hikings from Selbina to bastok almost daily, I'm getting tired of that!

The only jerks I ran into are tanks that refuse to provoke. Really.... when you are provoking an enemy but the whm can't keep up with the damage, you would expect the other tank to provoke the thing off of you.... but no! Otherwise, my parties have all been nice. They don't even complain when I'm the lowest lv member and can't deal any damage to the enemy. And who ever tells you that japanese players avoid american players.... feel free to laugh at them. Last weekend I was in 7 different parties. 3 of them had japanese players, even though their basic english was kind of sucky, they still had no problems talking to the rest of the party.

The desing wasn't all that bad. Some of the variations that came from it were nice. Its just too.... simplistic I guess.

The movie was released in the US last year. I don't think you will find movie files for it.
