I second that.

By the time you hit lv25..... I'll have most my jobs at lv30.
-
Sounds fun. I just hope he doesn't shove the whole enviromental crap down our throats like he did in Arjuna.

I was in a full party as a whm last night. I have to say it was pretty fun, but the lag was horrible. I don't know if its because of my shitty connection or because, unlike any other class, I actually have full view of the battle. Someone told me I could simply look away from the battle, and it seemed to work, but not much of a improvement. The other thing, is that I had a support healer everytime my party pulled something, so I'm not really sure if I was doing a good enough job or not. The fun thing is.... everyone wants you in your party, and I mean everyone. I kept getting tells from ppl wanting me to join their party last night. Oh well.... I might persue the career of whm, untill I can get my sam to lv25 and start lving in Elshimo.
-
Yeah? Isn't it much more fun when one of them calls for help? I have seen 20 Quads team up on a blm... just to be killed by a single spell.
-
So your NM hunting gave nothing? Thats a shame..... and I think I will go back to playing with my 2 pairs of leaping boots I managed to get yesterday when I refused to heal a dying warrior. Imode.... pali/whm is awsome for soloing. Pali/war is awsome for partying because not only do you get provoke, but you can also use defender to become a wall of pure steel or beserk to deal some damage. But the greatest comb yet is pali/drk. With the pali extra defense, plus the drk attack bonuses, you become a soloing machine. NM hunting is only for ppl who have achieved a high lv and are bored of looking for parties. For low lv players, NM hunting is as good as witch hunting. One of the best combos actually, is whm/pali. The extra vitality gives you more defense then a drk and the same defense as a war without defense bonus.

PS2? X-Box or even Gamecube would make it look way sweeter. And much more import friendly. -
MP boost for what? Aren't you changing classes once reach lv30? Then why the heck are you worried about lving whm beyond lv10 right now? And if you want an mp boost.... lv blm damnit!! If you want to lv something... lv a war. If you really want to be a pali, be aware that without provoke you are useless untill you get the super blind spell.

Half Life 2: On track for summer release

I'll go with....... someone will steal the new code... again... and the game will be released after Duke Nukem Forever comes out... and it will be the new Daikatana. -
LOL.... ain't that the best idea? My server had 78 ppl on when the lobby crashed. Too bad I was all the way in Windurst and I was too lazy to run back to Bastok and camp lizzies.
-
POL had major technical difficulties last night. From what I heard, not only was the lobby server down, but several worlds were slowly crashing too.

Hehehe.... I had the best party night on Friday. A few ppl from my LS wanted to get together and go party in Korroloka.... and so we did. The catch was, only 3 of us were on the same lv, while the other 3 were 5 to 6 lvs below us. We had 1 lv16 sam, 1 lv18 pali, 1 lv17 summoner, 2 lv14 whms, and 1 lv11 blm. The summoner was the tank, while everyone else was meleeing. Now, no one would be impressed if such mess of a party was taking on easies or decent challenges, right? Well.... we were taking on IT worms in Korroloka (at the spot where the Morion Worm spawns), and not just 1 at a time. They link, and they respawn right on top of each other, so we were fighting 4 to 5 IT worms at the same time. We made close to 10k xp in 2 hours. It was awsome! I can't even make that in 12 hours with a serious party. A bunch of japanese players were hanging around in hour camping spot simply because we were making Morion Worms spawn every 20 minutes or so. I died once, but managed to recover the lost xp in less then 5 minutes. And every other party that stopped by to fight worms would leave a few minutes later because we were pretty much taking on all respawned worms at the same time. We did the same thing last night, but with a slightly more serious party. Still managed to rack up xp like no other party though. BTW.... if anyone is ever in Korroloka.... fished great pugils do agro, and spiders are not to be dealt with when you are just lv20. And to finish..... party chatt of the century: Summoner: "Time to show these worms the awsome power of Bunkie!!" /wait10 /wait15 Pali: "Thats one dead squirrel "

I'm surprised your guys were surprised at that. The way I see it.... I won't be alive anymore, by the time Halflife2 gets released. <_< The whole source code theft was nothing by a way of covering the fact that Valve would never be able to release the game they promised back in September. <_<

The character is originally from the novel Dracula. Right. And he shows up in several variations of the original Vampire legend.
-
Maybe they should paint his hair white, call him Dante and change the name of the movie to Devil May Cry. As for Van Hellsing.... its the name of the first vampire hunter in several of the many different Vampire mythologies. If I'm not mistaken, the Belmont clan from Castlevania was loosely based on the myth of Van Hellsing.

The camp fire in NGusta is for making Galkan Sausages. You put a chunk of sheep meat there, and watch it for 1 game day, and then you will get a sausage. For the leaping lizzies..... forget about it. That place is camped full by all sorts of high level players, 24/7. Your best bet is to pray for 1 to respawn on some other lizzie camp. And BTW.... Yosho and Vostok, you 2 should probably wait for Yoshos brother. Because once you hit lv25 and have to go searching for keys for a quest, his treasure hunter will defenetly be handy.
-
And if by connection you mean..... reaching Jeuno from different points... I knew about that. I knew about reaching Jeuno from Sandoria... I just never thought anyone would be stupid enough to try crossin Batallia downs at lv20, as that is a lv25 lving spot and very hard to avoid agro. <_<
-
She speaks from experience unfortunately Vostok 7 It's a game!!! A gamee!!!!! You would be surprised. <_<
-
Errr.... as far as Vostok and roleplaying goes.... I would thread that path carefully... with emphasis on carefully. <_

This and Painkiller are 2 sleeper hits that can easily take the crown from Halflife2 and Doom3. Far Cry is certainly graphically impressive and seems fun. I'm not going to download the demo because if the game is really that good... it will suck to not be able to finish it.
-
No!!!! Really??!?!?!?! <_< Well... I didn't know where the short cut was. Theres a short cut to Jeuno from Windurst too... I don't know if theres one from bastok to Jeuno. As far as Jugner goes.... I wouldn't walk alone in there. I was helping a whm friend of mine do a quest... and I saw mobs that ranged from easy (gob), to decent challenges (orcs and leeches) to ITs (treants and tigers). And besides... thats where you do the Paly quest. Its around the lv of Passhow.
-
Walking from Windurst to Jeuno is the easiest way. I wasn't aware of being able to reach Jeuno from Sandoria. I always do Sandoria, Latheine, Valkurm, Highlands, Passhow, Rolanberry and Jeuno. As far as walking.... I had someone who still con IT from creatures in Passhow and Rolanberry, and we got agroed by a pansy Quad that got killing in a few strikes. Errr.... BCNM40?
-
I didn't make it seem bad... all I said was that I couldn't escort your because I would be as good as not having anyone since the mobs in Rolanberry still check as IT for me. <_<
-
Things around Jeuno? Bad idea!! Specially at lv20. A lv30 would be easily raped by someone the mobs that like to hang around the city. You are much better off in Qufim. And you guys know the big tower in Qufim? Thats the last rank3 mission.... you have to climb 10 floors of nothing but gobs, bats and giants.

Warning..... on the dragon.... sleep has a 1% of chance of hitting the dragon. Its good to have the ugly thing sleeping.... but if you miss.... it won't let go of you, and I mean benediction lv hate. Don't expect to beat it with 3 ppl. You need a full party for this mission, either 6 average players, 5 good players, or 4 awsome players. Do not expect to beat the dragon at lv20, so get your act together and reach lv25, at least, and get yourself a lv35 to 40 whm to tag along. Why? I will explain next.... I did the mission with 4 other ppl, and what we did was, I provoked the dragon, used defender on myself (I also had protect II on me and several other buffs), and kept hitting hit and getting hit while the rest of the party went to attack the Searcher (how many there are? Not sure. I could only see 1). The searcher went down in a couple of seconds, while the dragon lasted 3 whole minutes. It died just as we were about to start a skill chain, and just as our whm ran out of mp. One of our tanks got hit by the dragons curse. His hp was decreased by 90%, and this is the reason why you need a high whm... so you can get cursena(sp) cast on the afflicted member (it won't go away unless you die). The fight happens in a battle field... so you have to fight both at the same time. A lv20 rdm will not be able to fully replace a whm in this case.... so get at least 2 tanks, 2 attackers, 1 blm and 1 whm. On a funny note... our blm did not cast any spells.... he meleed the dragons candy ass. P.S. you have all the items necessary for the pally quest... the second item requires you to go to a cave and grab a player specific item.
