It feels very loose most of the times. Even if I leave the cross hair right on the target, I never see it changing colors to recognize a target, aka you miss 99% of the times because it acts as if the target isn't there. Its usually easier to hit the target out of a random burst, then carefully aiming. I ran into that problem even when using the sniper rifle, and I really find that unacceptable. The game suffers of bad storm trooper blaster rifle syndrome (I know some of you played those games), where the shots come out in random directions. You can have someone right in the middle of your cross hair, but that doesn't mean you will hit anything. And shooting while running is practically impossible to hit anything. I guess you would call that realistic.... but it just doesn't appeal me. I'll get the game and endure the aiming if its not fixed.... but I can't say I like that.

But is he wrong? Look at how some ppl reacted in both threads. Some of them sounded as if they were having a heart attack.

Whenever the movie was announced..... Square said Cloud was alive because he was left behind to guard the planet. Sephiroth is not alive, all the characters that show up in the clips are simple flashbacks (note how Sephiroth appears exactly like he did when he went mad and burned down Nibelheim). The only characters that are really there are the 3 fighting Cloud and the guy on the wheel chair.

Got the demo last night. Its pretty cool, but I have yet to play with the settings so I can get some decent performance out of it. I'm also getting clipping glitches with the stones and the shark. Besides that.... the game is pretty fun and very challenging. Doesn't have realistic physics and the aiming felt a little loose in my opinion.... but it was fun never the less. I'm picking the retail version whenever it comes out.

Next time... could you tell him to at least make the damn things faithful to the original line art?

means that TP was assigned ownership or management of the original footage. However, some rather murky language seems to say that BW and TP made arrangements regarding other production aspects (story, character, voice actors, etc.) and the copyrights thereto.So the "maker" of DYRL for copyright purposes isn't clear, and in any case the copyright could be assigned by contract. Its still a bit confusing. So does that mean HG has the right to use the DYRL animation as they see fit? Because if TP has the owndership of the animation..... HG would have it too, by proxy. But considering BW has the ownership of merchandize righs..... would that mean that TP/HG can use the animation bu not make anything out of it?

So we basically found the grounds where HG stands as far as DYRL SPs go.... but if BW has the rights to mechandising.... and MBS and Shogakukan have the rights to the video..... what does TP have? Bragging rights?

Because female looking male characters are cool. Ahh, if only I had the willpower to scratch my own eyes out! ! ! Well... looking female like is cool.... but looking like Ellen Degeners (sp) is not... and I'm talking about Van... the FF12 main male protagonist. And while I find it a little odd.... I would rather have female looking male characters then have the fan service fest that was FFX-2.

You know what the problem is? While HG might claim that confusing is whats keeping Macross from being heavily market as something different from RT..... Macross Plus is well known to the anime community. They can't just sneak them in a comic and expect ppl to swallow it. Back in the day ppl didn't have access to the original shows..... but this time ppl have had access to Macross Plus for years... they are not dealing with some unknown piece of anime design. I once again vote for a simple homage.

So I've got 2 Goldorak... and many other SOC . I pray for Bandai release Golgoths. For the size of the Saint Cloth Myth, the différence is made with the feet. You can clearly see that on this pic : They seem to be about the same size. And I have to say.... Hyoga looks the best out of the 5.

Hey! House of ze Dead was a pretty fun and corny movie. And did you hear Far Cry is going to be a DVD-Rom only game? About time they started ditching CDs.

If only they had done a Vagrant Story game instead.

I don't think so. The leo version you have seen in my link is the final version and it's gonna be out in april, after Ikki. And you can see the leg, but It doesn't bother me a lot. Araki style is very thin in the anime so I prefer knight toy like the SCM compared to the figure of the 80's, whick look like robots. I agree with you on the leg thing. I just think that they over done it a little with Shiryu. The few times I played around with it the articulations felt a little lose and the legs couldn't really stand the weight. It is a monumental improvement over the old figures. I just find it a pitty that I won't be able to play around with the golden saints pose because of the leg armor thing. And I wonder how Bandai is going to make helmets work with the current hair set up.
