  1. *snicker* He must have got a can of Ronnie Reagan's old hairspray somewhere in North America....you know...the stuff thats like rubber cement.
  2. The Invid Overlord (aka Gosamu) Oh you know, the anime-nazi kind who can't get over themselves.....they'll be the ones that are angry.
  3. I'm guessing that Ariel will be a Gosu or Gosamu pilot this time around. I'm also guessing this takes place months after the Battle of Reflex Point, cause Scott's new hairstyle doesn't match his old one.
  4. Hmm...... not quite my cup of tea character design-wise.
  5. Yep... amazing how wonderful the Canadian medical system is when my state is flooded with Snow Birds that come here for the health care services provided.
  6. Ya know...the 'squirt free' condom is a good thing to invest in.
  7. Ok, I'm contemplating self-publishing a role-playing game that I've been working off and on for the last few years. I finally decided to sit down, collect my various notes and mental thoughts together and being actually hashing things out. I'm currently checking on things like copyright and trademark costs as well as cost of publishing a comic-book style version (mostly for cost efficiency). Things, as they say, ain't cheap. The big stumbling block will be artwork. While I can do some of it myself, it will take me forever and a day. Thankfully it will not require mechanically oriented art (since its a low-fantasy/faerie-story/mythological based game). I intend on having a colour cover and have already found someone to do that for me. Its the internal artwork I'm worried about. I grew up on D&D Basic and AD&D 1st Edition and I'm still a fan of b&w illos. So much of the artwork done in RPGs these days is slop in my opinion. While its nice and colourful, it lacks soul in my opinion. Does anyone know what the current industry standard (or how to find it) for paying an artist for b&w illos? I apologize for putting anyone on the spot. Any help that can be rendered would be much appreciated.
  8. Ok, that was the most f'd up defense of Macross 7 I've ever read in my life. And people say I come up with weird defenses for the Spartas.....
  9. *snickers* Tell us how you really feel AgentONE. As for Macross 7.....I watched the entire series and the OVAs....praying to a deaf God that it would get better. It didn't. Macross II may have had weak animation in the last 2 episodes, but its storyline was a helluva lot more believable than whatever whacked out slop Kawamori thought up for Macross 7.
  10. Ahem... back to the topic of colonies.. I do believe its a colony ship Million Stars that gets attacked by the Neld Space Fleet some 2 light yrs from Earth (cant remember, I'll check on that later). From this conflict, which the UN Spacy participates, they capture another Factory Satellite and gain the technical plans for the VF-XX Zentran Valkyrie Prototype. This also leads them to upgrade from the old VF-1 Refit Series to the VF-2 Series.
  11. *snicker* Don't tell that to the RPG nazi's on Palladium's boards. They swear that anything shown in the books is canon and the show(s) doesn't matter.
  12. Hehe, don't laugh but there is some legally made hentai that either is going to be withdrawn from the market or never brought to the States. I can think of several myself: Just about anything by U-jin, the entirety of the Cream Lemon series (which is too bad, it was good hentai for its time), the End of Summer and the F Cubed series among others.
  13. I believe they have come up with one or more new designs for capital ships as the ones from Mospeada are essentially 'Gator Navy' designs: troop ships designed for planetary drops that can act as ships of the line in a pinch. They would have to have ships that fulfill the Destroyer and Cruiser roles if they want to actually engage in ship-to-ship combat, which was wholey unneccessary during Mospeada (the Invid lack any kind of armed capital ship).
  14. Ok... what farting jackass hacked the name of this thread. I never wrote Shadow Farce news. Its Shadow Force news.
  15. Some more pics courtesy of Darkwater. These are from this month's Newtype USA.
  16. Christ... would some Moderator please get it over with and ban MGREXX.
  17. ROBOTECH MACROSS MATCHBOX VERITECH HOVER TANK NRFB!!!!! Winning bid: US $172.50 Ended: Mar-19-05 16:02:06 PST Start time: Mar-12-05 16:02:06 PST History: 20 bids (US $25.00 starting bid) Amazing, a Mint in Box Spartas toy from a series everyone claims no one like sells for nearly $200. Someone mind explaining this to me if no one wants these toys? If you'd like to verify it, here is the link to the actual auction. Matchbox Hovertank toy auction Here is another little tidbit to make my fellow Southern Cross fans see red. Someone at Robotech.com took the time to compile a list of all the Macross, Southern Cross and Mospeada toys released. I decided to count only those released in the 80s and then by Playmates. The Macross Saga totaled in at 130 toys The Robotech Masters totaled in at 27 toys The New Generation topped off at 43 toys Oh yea....Southern Cross had such a farting chance to develop a following. I don't know whom to be more pissed off at, the people who ran HG's licensing in the 80s or the current crop of toy producer George Sohn for sitting on his ass.
  18. Well, I have it on my harddrive, but mine was from a different site. I'll try and get the alternate site (sorry, I didn't find it originally) and post it.
  19. Hey, figured I would pass this along since there are quite a few aerospace junkies on this board. Its 4 Mirages of the Swiss Airforce flying some absolutely dangerous looking flight paths through the Alps, including up over the Matterhorn. According to one of the posters in the thread, the opening music was composed by Era and is titled Enae Volare Mezzo. There is one small discrepancy of course. There is a claim that they shoot down a F/A-18, which is absurd. Anyone else know what plane it is they 'kill'? (I know, of course, but I ain't telling). Enjoy! Mirage III video
  20. Try a product that is the result of millions of years of evolution. The reason sex sells, well, we ain't that far removed from our antecedants that were the aquatic ape. The further back you go, the more controlled by our basic survival instincts we were. Among those basic survival instincts is the absolute need to procreate...especially when violence is nearby.
  21. Thats cause the M in MGREXX stands for Moron.
  22. My question is: 'Where is the Protoculture porn of said singer after her career tanked and she decided to take it all off to make money?'
  23. One can hope very soon.
  24. Heh.... anyone else notice the Robotech voice actors that worked on the English dub version of Yukikaze? See, MGREXX was right (for once) its a conspiracy. Of course, Im being facetious....
