$10 a bottle? SOLD! But don't bend yourself in knots getting me any, I just wish I had of known about this miracle brew when I was at 37SQN.
-
Cowie, you'd better have a good explanation for why you have future and I don't!! Who's your supplier? That stuff is rare as hens teeth in Aus. Cheers, Berttt

I can't tell you how glad I am to see this post. Thankyou, now I know there is at least one other rational MW fan out there. Cheers and Beers Berttt

I'm hearing ya. I have been a part of similiar mobs here in Australia. No club politics or beaurocracy, just rock up have a chat, do some modelling and bugger off. And the first bloke to count rivets on another blokes kit get kit a wholloping Modelling the way it should be. Berttt

Very cool dude. So that is a HEWAT kit fast pack set on a nichimo 1/200 VF? Nice man, very nice.

Jesus Christ! That's some f@#%ed up s*%t right there. Can't even trust the fellows in uniform? Not for me thanks. BTW why does MW edit your response, seems kinda draconian. Berttt

I was Thanks for clearing that up. Enjoy and be sure to post some pics. Berttt

Nice ghost man, at first glance seems like such a shame for a nice kit to get bashed like that, but it looks great and must have taken quite a bit of effort. I like it. Cheers, Berttt

The left shoulder definitely looks like a searchlight. HWR is correct, the right shoulder is some kind of heavy missile launcher.

These are nice little kit. Mine (from the original run of kits) had a few casting issues but nothing major. [attachmentid=37711] You can see the finished result over here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=14173 Thanks again to GH for bringing us another awesome Macross kit Cheers, Berttt

MM sounds like someone will be staying behind after calss to rewatch M+ Thanks Sean. Berttt

The two drones seen in M+ seem to be VF-11's converted to the task (earth Ghost fighter testing scene) or the remote control type launched from that badarsed bomber in ep. 1. (YF-21 testing scene)

I looked into that idea. Thing is the gunpod in that episode is mounted on a hardpoint between the external tank and the engine nacelle. In the real aircraft there isn't the room to put anything there, and therefore on the kit version as well. Ther are two options for this: 1) Mount the hardpoint outboard of the external tanks 2) move either the rngine nacelle or external tanks. -
I vaguley remember this being offered as a resin kit from somewhere. If I am not mistaken isn't it from the first GITS movie?
-
Hey Cowie, nice job man. I used to have one of those 1/100 and you are a braver man than I am. I just cheat and go for the Hasegawa kits You can see a lot of work has gone into that one to get it to that standard. I tip my hat to you Sir! Can't wait to see your next kit. Cheers, Berttt

Thanks Chad, I realise that the weathering may be a bit much for some, but I always saw this as a kind of "Space Forklift". As such I figured it would be pretty busy, and always getting knocked about retriving debris from outside the ship, or carrying out repairs after a battle, with little time for touching up paint etc.

Great work there dude, I have some plans for what you are thinking, I have gathered that the boarding ladder might look similar to this:

Well my booster is finally finished:
-
Well the Spiderbu ig finally finished. Overall I think it turned out OK, but I am not thrilled with. I am hower thrilled that one less kit is on my build pile. Man taking photos of white kits is a pain, a lot of the subtle weathering didn't show up, oh well better get better at taking pics then Cheers, Berttt

I hear ya LSTO, to the point where I am wondering if I will get this or not. In the end the design just doesn't grab me. Berttt -
