From reading a lot of replies in this thread, I can see I'm missing out on a lot. Maybe I should check out M7 just to get more of the story. :/ 2 more days or so till Episode 3 comes out, according to http://www.bandaivisual.co.jp/dbeat/magazi...ss/release.html. I'm still not sure what to think of the AFOS.

"AC3Filter - it is DirectShow filter for AC3 decoding to play .AVI with AC3 audio tracks and MPEG2 (DVD)." ...And it was a video problem that I was having...don't know why I added that I have the AC3Filters. Anyway.....

I need help veiwing Episode 1 and 2 of Macross 0. They're both NLA versions...and it doesn't matter which one I play...but the bottom of the screen turns green...and it bleeds into the rest of the picture. What am I missing here? I have DivX, and I think I have XviD...not sure on that one. I have the AC3 filters. I can't think of anything else that I could be missing.

I was watching X Play on TechTV tonight, and they showed a trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. It looked really sweat! My question is...is it going to be a game or a movie? I hope they're making an updated version of VII...with much improved graphics...maybe a retelling of the story or something.... From the screenshots in the trailer...I could only imagine what the game would look like with the much improved graphics! Trying to find out if I had the name right. I'm trying to find the theme song...why I asked what I asked. I'm not having any luck finding the theme song though.

Either of you remember watching a show called Beyond 2000? I think that was the name of the show. It was a program that talked about all these new gadgets coming out, and all of this new high tech stuff. It was played in the 90s...and maybe even the 80s. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Maybe it was called Beyond the Year 2000? Anyone?

Lol Keith! We all know that II has holes when it comes to continuity. Still doesn't make it any less great than it already is. $$$ So it's a "carbon copy of DYRL"...it's still a different story all together...and a good one at that!

Macross II, good pick! It's what really got me into Macross in the first place...aside from Robotech. Wouldn't want it any other way either. $$$ ...And don't listen to Keith and his opinion on Macross II...he's biased. The story is great, love the mecha, characters, and especially the music! The music is what I love the most about II...anyway. My 2 cents!

Well, it IS two generations later... lol.... I don't know much about soundcards, but the damn card costs more than the Live card, so it had to be better. Was doing the comparision crap on the Dell website, they said that'd be the best card for audio listening... So I just figure....

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 Computer. With a 2.8GHz w/HT chip, 1GB DDR RAM, 128MB DDR GeForce FX video card, a 120GB HD, and the SoundBlaster Audigy 2 soundcard. The specs don't matter...just had to gloat Apparently the Audigy 2 soundcard is supposedly superior to the Live card. I'd put your Audigy 2 card back in, and install any software you had with it, and go from there. I'm still trying to make the sound coming from my 4.1 speaker system to sound just right.... I've got it close, but no cigar...can't really complain. Anyway.....

I saw it a couple of hrs ago, and I must say I really enjoyed it! The only thing I thought weak was the ending...but it works. I've heard ppl say that Keanu Reeves can't act...let me tell you, in this movie there were some pretty believable parts in the movie...especially towards the end where Neo and Trinity make it to the...for one instance. I mean...frakk! Movies generally don't do that to ya...at least not to me. Anyway, I liked it. It was worth my $8.25. To any of you disbelievers/nay-sayers, go see it! My 2 cents.

How many of you thought T3 was a shitty ass movie? And how many of you were proved wrong? I happened to like T3 a lot. One of the better films I've seen in the past two years...well...besides LOTR.
