What's the difference between the originals, the 1997 special editions, and any other versions out there? I have no clue how many versions there are....

Wow...so many negative comments on this movie. I was looking forward to Van Helsing (only to fall asleep towards the end) and Troy. Now after having seen Van Helsing, and seeing all of the negative comments on Troy...I'm afraid to go see another movie in fear of wasting more money.

Heh. I already own Mario Cart Double Dash and the GC. So I am already halfway there. lol! Lucky you! I wish I could say the same. ='(

Quick question on SW: Clone Wars. Are there going to be anymore episdoes after 20? Or is 20 it, and everything will be wrapped up in SW III?

Last night I went and saw the movie with my roommates and a few of us came out not happy at all. The movie could hardly keep my attention; I noticed that my attention kept on going elsewhere. Towards the end of the movie, right when they got to Dracula's castle, I probably fell asleep 3 times (trying to stay awake) missing the entire ending. Never have I ever fallen asleep at a movie theater before. What a waste of $8.50 and time that was. ThE only good thing about the movie is Kate Beckinsale. Hot damn!

What series is that from? Is it a VF? This is the first time I've seen the plane. Looks beautiful though.

With the VF-1 w/VF-X FPs, couldn't you have the single salvo have missles aimed at multiple targets, all at once? (If that made any sense.) So it wouldn't be all that wastefull...?

I wouldn't mind seeing it myself either. Generally when I think of martial arts movies I think of Jackie Chan and 'goofy' martial arts films. This one looks to be serious...would be nice for a change.

I say keep the audio all the same, just reanimate all the episodes....

Well, the way I figure it. If Macross were to ever go down hill...there would still be the original, Macross II, Macross Plus, Macross DYRL, Macross FB 2012, and Macross Zero (I like it so far) that I'd still love many yrs down the road. I dunno.... Thnx for the thoughts and opinions though.

I've often wanted to get a tattoo...and I've always heard that you should get one of something you can live with...love. Well...getting a tattoo of a girl I love would be just stupid...anything could go wrong, etc. So w/that out of the question...the only real thing I love is Macross. So I figure if I were to get a tattoo, it'd probably be the Macross kit symbol...or something Macross related.... Anyway...I was just curious to what the rest of you would do. Side Question: If you guys wouldn't get the Macross kite symbol, would you get a tattoo that's related to Macross?

I saw the trailer for the first time...was actually "stoked" (so to say) at first during the first half of it. Then the second half came and ruined it all. They pretty much told the entire story in that trailer. No point in going to see the movie now. Never again am I going to watch another trailer. Edit:I've never read the novel's so I had no idea what it was about. And even with that being the case, the second part of the trailer just made it seem like it was sorta gonna be horrible.

This piece has no singing in it? Yet it's played right when Hibiki and Ishtar are saying their goodbyes...and then she boards the ship? I'm guessing you watched the dubbed version, right? That piece isn't on any of the OSTs, and I highly doubt it's on any of the other Macross OSTs. What I can tell you though are the name of the songs that are played before it and after it, if you'd like?
