Where can one find a R2 DVD? I'm having no luck finding anything online.

I think he was referring to your hatered of Macross II. Back in the days of AFM it probably would have surprised me that you own a copy. Though, I don't know about you anymore, as far as your dislike for Macross II goes...anyway. I'm gonna join the bandwagon and say that I too own a copy of The Sentinels. Watched it once, never plan on watching it again.

So for those that think this monopoly is okay, do you all love Microsoft products too? Edit: I know MS products are something you don't have to buy if you want to use a computer...but computer market is largely dominated by MS. I happen to use FireFox for my web browser and there are quite a few sites that I'm not able to visit unless I use Internet Explorer.... See where I'm going with this though?

I've never heard anything like that for DVDs....but for DVD players and the likes....I've heard that for the PS and PS2 it helps the lens live longer or some poo like that. The DVD Players are probably the same way...but I'm no expert so.....

lol!! My housemates have a REALLY nice home theater system downstairs.... I'd love to have a marathon like that, but one housemate (the guy who owns most of the stuff) doesn't want to set there for hours on end...so I probably won't get to have a marathon.... Wish I could join ya!!

It's the fact that it's still "brand new" and that it may go up in value some day...that's how I see it.

I went ahead and ordered all three box sets...tis gonna be a very merry Christmas indeed! Question for everyone. Do either of you have multiple copies of the box sets? One opened and the other not opened? The more I think about it...the more unsure I am of wanting to open my box sets.... I do have them on the comp......

The song Ishtar hums is titled "Only Your Friend," which is preformed by Wendy Ryder (I believe her seiyuu is Mika Kaneko). The song can be found on Macross II OST Volume 1, track 15. You won't find Ishtar humming that song on any of the OSTs though. Hope this helps. Edit: And Seto Kaiba beats me to it as I hit "Add Reply."

Is there any animation on it that isn't in any of the series or games? Besides the deformed SDF and all that is?

After seeing it a second time, it isn't as bad as I first thought it was.... There's just a lot of it I didn't expect...and there are things I was expecting that I didn't see at all. I think it's one of the best as far as animation goes... I think I like it a little more than DYRL, on par with Flashback 2012, and I like it a little less than Plus, with SDF and II being my favs.

...Definitely not the greatest episode.... I'm pretty disappointed with the way Macross Zero turned out.... Can't win them all though.....

I've seen a lot of Macross II topics started...this makes me happy. Macross II DOES 0wn.... This thread will probably be closed cause I threw in some "nonsense"...but ah well. I just need to state my two cents.
