  1. The part where Pazu is fighting his double, would anyone know the name of the track that's playing in the background? I've tried searching the net but I've come up empty. Thanks in advance!
  2. I believe it's two.
  3. Your logic is obviously flawed if you think FLCL "is more Macross-ish than M2." There are a lot more worse than Macross II out there...and I'm not just saying this cause I'm a huge fan of II, it's just that I've seen much worse and I'm sure you have too...so don't lie. I know I can name quite a few off the top of my head. Even with your logic with Micro$oft...you've must have forgotten what the PS2 launch was like. ...Hey! Here's an idea, lets all jump on the hate bandwagon! But I digress...and I repeat, there are a lot more worse anime out there than Macross II.
  4. That's the worst design I've ever seen...wtf are they smoking?
  5. I wouldn't go as far as to say that Macross Zero was a dud. It had everything that a Macross fan could ask for: music, love, war...a plot. The detail in the animation of the Valkyries transforming was awesome too if you ask me. In my opinion, Macross Zero in its entirety is at least 10 times better than most of the new anime out there. Aside from Bleach, Gurren Lagann, Eureka Seven, Ghost in the Shell, School Rumble, and Naruto (the latter of which I'm slowly starting to care less for)...there really hasn't been anything else out there that I'd consider good. Again...I wouldn't go as far as saying that Macross Zero is a dud. I'm just glad that Macross is still alive and kicking...that we're getting a new series!
  6. I saw that, but I was hoping for a review on the entire series...not a demo. Thanks anyway, I appreciate the reply.
  7. Any of you ever seen Peacemaker or Saiyuki? I'm tempted to pick those up from ADV...but I'd like your guys opinions please. Also, how is Noir? Thanks.
  8. My friends list was deleted some how...gonna have to add you all back.
  9. I hate it when updates go bad; have to reformat and all that bs. Too bad you can't do that with the 360...I hope they have a fix for ya.
  10. I got a copy of Crackdown with the Beta on it yesterday just so I could play the Beta. The MP is more difficult than it is in Halo 2 in my opinion. I believe they got rid of the auto aim. As others have mentioned, the controls take some time getting used to. The game is really fun though, I can't wait till the final product comes out either!
  11. Why don't you troll on some other forum instead? FYI, I still see Core systems at the Wal-Marts here where I live.
  12. Are you serious? They're showing anime again?! Aside from Robotech, when the Sci-Fi channel showed anime on Sat. nights way back when...it too helped me get into anime. Well, this gives me an excuse to start watching the Sci-Fi channel again.
  13. Well when they say the "best possible version we are allowed to show" it makes you wonder...makes me wonder anyway. Whatever though...as wolfx said...at least they're re-airing it.
  14. I don't remember...which is why I asked what happened in the last five minutes. "Eureka will definitely re-air Saturday at 1 AM. We're looking in to the possibility of replay on the Fix, but we may not be able to due to rights restrictions. The re-broadcast of GITS will be pushed back by a week. I think some of the most hard core of you (i.e. the fan subbers) might still have a few issues with the broadcast but we are bringing you the best possible version we are allowed to show. We're sorry to all the fans. I hope you guys know that we would never intentionally screw up the finale to drive the ratings down. Even on April Fools this year, we showed the episodes twice on the fix and broadcast them the next week." - BrandMerrill (Admin on [AS] forums) Here's the link...!
  15. What happened in the last five minutes again? Edit: Apparently AS will be re-airing the last episode in it's entirety (editing out all of the non-PC stuff supposedly?) at 1 am this Saturday because of all the angry viewers.
  16. Heh...that's where I get a little iffy...with the forums. But fair enough; cheers.
  17. Well, I ask not cause I don't believe ya, if that's what you're wondering...I'd just like to read up on it myself. I generally browse through Anandtech.com and TomsHardware.com, but haven't been able to find more info on Barcelona/Agena/Kuma through those sites.
  18. I only went with the Windsor because of the 1MB L2 cache on each core; I don't believe Brisbane has the 1MB L2 cache on both cores. And if that's the case with Barcelon/Agena/Kuma...I'll probably wait for AM2+ then (AM3 will probably be too rich for my blood). Where'd you get your info on Barcelona if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to read up more on the chip. Also, what were the other cases that you'd recommend? Thanks again!
  19. Hmmm, well the drive on NewEgg was getting great reviews. What drive would you recommend then?
  20. You've noticed that big of difference? One 8800 GTX card will outperform two 7900 GTXs in SLI. Why spend all of that cash only to wait a generation for a card that'll top those two cards together? It's a gimmick I tell ya!
  21. At least two or three external 5.25" bays; at least two 3.5" external bays; the more internal bays the better I guess; no PSU; front usb and audio ports (IEEE 1394 optional); not clear acrylic; basic looking; 120mm fan would be nice but not required. As for color...black...two-tone...silver/grey. Thanks again. Also, the following is what's going to be in my new system (haven't bought any of it yet; still subject to change): ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI (I'm not getting the mobo because of SLI, it just so happens to have a lot of the features I want.) AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz Socket AM2 EVGA GeForce 7950GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SeaSonic S12-430 ATX12V 430W PSU Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive SAMSUNG Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal Floppy Drive Pioneer 18X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA I had thought about going with a Core 2 Duo, but AMD should be coming out with their new chips (Barcelona, Kuma, and Agena) sometime this year or the next. It hasn't been confirmed yet (from what I've read) that these chips will fit in an AM2 socket and be compatible, but here's hoping!
  22. I was just skimming through some of the posts. I keep seeing the GeForce 8000 series card brought up. There's no real need to get a DX10 card right now. I don't know of any applications that require DX10. If anything, I'd wait till DX10 is more mainstream and there are actual programs that require DX10. Also, SLI is a gimmick, don't buy into it!!! Wouldn't waste my time buying a pre-built PC either. One could get the exact same PC from Dell from...say NewEgg.com...at a much cheaper price. I'd never pay more than $150 for a mobo, and never more than $250 for a video card. Also, there's no real point in upgrading to Vista either. It's pretty much a face lift to XP; plus I've heard there are lots of driver problems with Vista, and not every thing works as it should. If anything, wait till there are applications that require DX10 and till Vista has ALL the bugs worked out. All of my colleagues in the IT department, at the college I go to, all agree that Vista isn't worth it right now. There's nothing Vista can do that XP can't do...other than use DX10. Forgive me if I've repeated a lot of what someone else has said...like I said I've just been skimming the thread. I do have a question for you other tech gurus though. I'm looking to buy a new case for a PC I'm building. I'd prefer if it weren't tool-less for I've been reading a lot about how flimsy some of those tool-less cases are. ATX is the form factor...Full Tower or Mid Tower would be great. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  23. Are you serious? She gets sexually assaulted? Macross 7 is the only one of the series I have yet to see. ...I would have never thought there'd be something like that in any Macross series. Wasn't Macross 7 geared more towards teenagers and younger or something?
  24. My 360 gets A LOT of use and I don't have too many problems with it. When I leave a game in there, boot up to the dashboard and then start the game from there, I get "dirty disc" errors sometimes...and sometimes the 360 doesn't even recognize that there's a disc in there...but those two problems don't occur often...if at all. Moreover, I've never had a problem when I've inserted a disc...nor have I ever had over-heating problems...nor the 3 red rings. I'm not trying to dismiss your friend's problem or anything...just that I don't know of a single piece of hardware that doesn't have it's problems. Be it gaming consoles...PCs...or Macs...they all have problems one time or another. Hell, I consider myself a computer nerd...and so do my friends. I maintain my PC very well...defragmenting often...making sure I have the latest updates...clean installs....AV...no spy/malware...you name it. Yet, I have problems with my PC every now and then because the software and hardware is never perfect. So to you nay-sayers about the 360...wake up and realize that there isn't a single piece of hardware out there that doesn't have it's problems.
