that two-tone silver looks like crap. It looks like a pre-production toy, as they are trying to figure out a paint app. hasbro is KNOWN for their horrible paint jobs and color choices.

have not seen this, and judging by that pic...im not going to. It looks awful. the Cutie Honey movie from a while back was not that bad at all.

yeah...my guess is about $500-$700. the release of the 1/60 yamato VT-1 didnt really seem to effect the price of this guy. the VE-1 can still fetch $1700...which is just amazing.

The custom Ultra Magnus armor and the soundwave are beautiful. Id love to have official releases of both. I assume that the next MP release is Thundercracker in order to complete the seeker jets. After that, Im really hoping for a Soundwave, Devastator or Jazz. A MP Devastator would be one of, if not the coolest toy of the year.

a buddy of mine has one just like it except its not Macross, its Volkswagon. It seems to be fairly well made and has stood up to plenty of beer being splashed on it from playing beer pong.

That would be sweet if your name was on the pilot stickers. Id rather have that then get one for free.

as far as the Dobber 51 goes...how does this work? Would Yamato pay him royalties for using his design, or would they change it just enough to where its not really his exact design anymore so they dont have to call it sv-51 dobber type?

is anyone here going to wonderfest? Toy companies reveal all sorts of great stuff there, im willing to bet that the first shots of the 21 will be seen at WF.

well, japan does have bi-pedal robots...maybe what we see on the news and online is a very small glimpse of what they have going on over there...
