  1. US version @ Gamestop has the Metal Gear Saga 2 DVD. Not sure about the import. From what I've heard on the KPR, the Japan version will not include english subtitles. Probably more a Konami corporate bean counter decision over a Hideo one.
  2. Hmmm...gun metal PS3 MGS4 bundle? Looks like it.
  3. Try calling customer support and explain the issue...does thedate an time also reset if not connected to the 'net? If so, it's a very simple fix.
  4. 50 bucks says I could take him out with one shot or two kicks.
  5. David > Sigourney on this one...but for $30 it's still a deal.
  6. And that's what makes it instant doubly lame.
  7. Why are the Star Wars people on the covers now? Playable is ok I guess but now on the box art too? And in other news: Those who didn't already get a DS3, can order one from Amazon at a discount: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-98050-Dualshock...r/dp/B0015AARJI
  8. 360 and PS3 Soul Calibur Box art: Why are the Star Wars characters on the cover? Playable fine, but now they're on the box? What the frak?
  9. Problems with Brawl on your Wii? http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/repair/re...orm_us_ssbb.jsp Mine locks up with Brawl at random. Seems like my Wii is imitating my old 360 and PS1.
  10. Zelda on Wii did not track the remote movements. Swinging the remote was akin to a button press, with a canned animation.
  11. But even 360 only fans will say that. It's as certain as death and taxes.
  12. You mentioned a controller's price, not about pack in stuff. And while I agree somewhat with that statement, it will soon be moot as DS's will soon become the pack in. Besides, it's not as if Sony was hoarding the DS3 all these years...they couldn't do jack about it until that stupid lawsuit was over (which I will agree they shouldn't have fought and tried to settle out of court for significantly less than Immersion wanted. ). Replacement battery instructions are actually in the manual. Sorta like when the Gameboy Advance SP came out...Everyone whined about a rechargable battery , but it was serviceable with a screw. I would hope Sony begins to sell controller batteries instead of forking out for new controllers. Going back to the price...we are in the age of expensive add ons...360 HDD's, DS3's(for early adopters I suppose), and Wii Remotes that sell you a separate nunchuck (which many games require) for $60 total. 360 controller is only $50 but many people buy play and charge kits and that shoots it up. We don't like it but we don't have much choice. At least with the PS3 and 360, there ARE alternatives out there. And now ack to the thread
  13. The 360's controllers are $50 with no rechargeable battery. And Wii remotes are $40 plus $20 for the Nunchuck. We're in the age of expensive controllers, though a few years ago, 3rd party cordless controllers for the PS2 and Xbox ran in those ranges. Only the Wavebird was relatively cheap.
  14. Even if it is the newer Falcon chip sets and heat sinks, that hasn't stopped the RROD from claiming them too.
  15. It's ok...looks nice for a Tekken title but I was never a fan of Tekken. Too slow for me. I bought it simply because my friend wanted to see it badly. She playe dit for like an hour and we went back to VF-5.
  16. Hah, I got that beat...the 360 at my local Wal Mart a lil while back...this is the 3rd time I believe:
  17. Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2, and a "SECRET" Exclusive
  18. Everything you can read on the internet yes. Behind closed doors, no...it was supposed to be the "out"; the problem was as mentioned, incompatibilities. As for HD DVD ROM...no one wanted to buy in from the start anyways. For all of the BDA's rush tactics to market, HD DVD's plans were more screwed than those. Toshiba and the DVD forum did not have the money to compete against virtually every other hardware manufacturer out there. Not to mention when they did try, they gave us commercials like this...in Standard Def during the Super Bowl: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWlj5ZX7JmY Way to spend the cash guys.
  19. "If"..."that's because"..."had they"...does not change anything. Triple layer wasn't originally intended for video true, but it was the next round to be fired if the war continued for another year or so...problem was that it would make all HD DVD players truly "obsolete".
  20. Still have an old 13" Panasonic TV at my mother's house that has those...it still works too!
  21. Hey I liked rotary phones!! My favorite jab at it was Chris Rock in Lethal Weapon 4.
