The All Things Video Games Thread!
Gaijin replied to Apollo Leader's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Valkyria Chronicles is a great title. On another Sega note, I picked up PS2 Thunder Force VI. It's...really easy. Like kiddie easy. For one, you have all weapons right at the start and don't lose them when you die. Now Overweapon is wayyyyyy too strong. After you beta the game, you can use other ships. Which have variants of the main weapons and you lose them when you die, which is what the default should have been and the no losing weapon ship should have been the unlocked prize. Levels are very short. Bosses are very easy. Buy it if you're a Thunder Force fan but be warned...you'll finish in no time. Too bad...TFIV still remains the best. -
America has always been stick over auto.

Sonic CD with the original Soundtrack would be great...my Mega CD version bit the dust when someone stepped on it. -

If the games are truly in HD, this will be a must buy. -

YES!!

I just tried it. I really liked it. Think I'm picking it up.

I doubt the game voices will be dubbed. If anything, it will be the story sequences.

The Arash's emblem looks sorta like the old Firehawk badge.
-
In what capacity? The game voices or the story anime? If it's the story anime I'm not too concerned. If it's the gameplay voices than that would be an import for me.

I'd go with Gears over the COD since it's not an Infinity Ward game this time around...heck, it's not even COD5 in name either. Rumor is the true 5 will be Infinity Ward's baby.

I'm in that too..I've just put it aside since SOCOM came out. The co-op is fun but tough! Those enemies are brutal!

I haven't noticed any of the lag, freezing, or long loading times you mentioned..I did in the beta sometimes but not with the retail.

Zipper's working on MAG. Some say it may turn into an Official SOCOM title (SOCOM 4?). Regardless, I'm enjoying Confrontation if only for the less people running around like idiots shooting and jumping at everything (which plagues most FPS online).

SOCOM time! The included headset is worlds better than the Jabra Warhawk one. Worth picking up for that alone.

What are you dressing up as on Halloween?
Gaijin replied to gerwalk25's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Where I live, it's pretty much still going very strong. My subdivision is fairly new, and it's "safe" for trick or treaters in that all of us giving out candy are "good" and the streets in there don't get a whole lot of traffic so no worries about getting run over. This is my 6th year there, and candy bags have gone from 300-about 600 given out every year. It costs me a lot. SO many families coming to our neighborhood from others. I throw a huge bash for people in my garage and require costumes of the adults so we all have a blast, the kids can trick or treat in a safe neighborhood, and it's all good. -

Last year I was Snake Eyes. I might do the same thing again, as my Galactica outfit just seems kinda meh. You know, the tank over the t-shirt with the dog tags hanging thing. -
It's about time! Never played it but it was shown over a year ago for the PSN.
