Another question from me (again): What is the difference between VF-11B and VF-11C? I don't see any difference from their artwork. And a little out of topic, but I see in the Macrosshare.blogspot.com that most of the episode are seperated into parts. How do I suppose to combine those parts?

But then, it wasn't the good ol' Monster from SDFM. It's VB-6 Konig Monster, the variable version of it. And it's lighter than the old Monster by about 1/3, too, so it could fly and perhaps won't have those floor-crushing effects. If every explanations fails, we still got OverTechnology, right? Well, one also have to take the consideration of what file type a fansub group can provide. In my case, I have to choose Shinsen's AVI file and AiA's mp4 file because my comp can neither play the HD mkv files nor using the softsub option. Blame it on my lousy, 5-year-old comp.

Getting back to topic, although I understand the controls of earlier cockpit of VF-01, it's the Block-6 (and to a certain extant, most of the VF cockpit after VF-1) that confusing me sometimes. I think I know where the tapets are in the level, but I'm totally confused for the side-stick controller. And judging from what I see from M0, it's the position of the throttle lever/stick that determine the mode of the VF, right? BTW, can anyone explain to me the transformation from the Fighter/GERWALK cockpit to the Battroid one? I'm curious about that one, like where do the Battroid cockpit located at? I'm assuming that both the Fighter cockpit and the Battroid one is different.

Ever since I know about Macross, one thing keep bothering me: how the pilot controls his/her VF, especially in battroid mode? I mean, how suppose they change the VF from one mode to another, and then control those arms in GERWALK and Battroid mode (since both modes have difference cockpit), and then choosing the correct missiles to use (especially VF-1, which sometimes equipped with multiple types of missiles), and control the Battroid's leg movement... Argh, I hate to imagine what sort of training those pilots went through just to learn those controls! On a side note, can anyone enlighten me about the transformation from the fighter/GERWALK cockpit to the Battroid cockpit? They are different, right?

Well, I use Media Player Classic from CCCP. My comp can play most of the mkv files, given that it's not in HD (1280x720) form. When I play those files, the movie become lag. My comp simply don't have the resource to handle those HD files.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! Back to the subject, isn't the deployment of VF-25F and VF-25S in episode one is their first official deployment? If there's VF-25A, why didn't SMS deployed them? Sounds kinda weird for me.

Another question: what's VF-X and VF-X Ravens? Are there any connections between the two?

Seems like I'm right (for now) that they didn't forgo for the typical VF-1 "A" designation for the 'grunt' unit but using the VF-19 "F" designation instead, Mr March. Just hope it's not a printing mistake done by those Bandai staffs.

Well, the main text of VF-17 did mentions that VF-17's high performance makes it a difficult craft to be used by normal pilots, but again, take it with a grain of salt until someone who has much better understanding of Japanese translate the texts.

Not too sure if the scans have any new info, but from what little Japanese I can read, it did mention that VF-171 performance and mobility is lower than VF-17, but it's also much easier to be piloted. Also VF-171 is the main VF of the Macross Frontier fleet.

Miss Macross? Wow, old tradition really dies hard. BTW, is all of Macross TV series feature at least a Miss Macross episode? I haven't seen Macross 7 yet.

For myself, I got introduced to Macross from RT, but like Mr March, it's Macross Plus that makes me an Macross fan. And for the resentments towards HG and its (crap) RT, I have one thing to say: GIVE ME MY UN SPACY KITE FLAG BACK! BTW, is HG also the reason why UN Spacy turns into NUNS in MF?

Zinjo: I still not get any of the SDFM or M+ vibe from the song yet, but maybe when the show is aired, I might have a change of mind. On the other hand, I hope the changes mentioned didn't including the decrease of animation quality. You know, the animation in Deculture Edition is so good, I begin to wonder if Kamawori and co. can even do such good animation for every single week.

Actually, what Renato tried to say that in his opinion, Aquarion has a story that almost as bad as Macross 7, not that Aquarion is Macross 7 Mk.II But to Kamawori's credit, at least the animation and the OP is good, IMHO. It's not his best work, but at least it's enjoyable for a super robot mecha anime.

Just my personal curiosity, Mr March and Zinjo, what's with the name calling between you two? Did you two have problems with (read: hate) each other? BTW, did anyone knows rumors of any major difference between the Deculture Edition of episode one with the 'normal' version of episode one? I knows about the Op and Ed, but I wonder will there be any change for animation or the storyline...

Misa and Hikaru are indeed married at October 2012 according to Macross Compendium, and together with Mimmay, are the crew of the Megaroad-01, first human colonization ship ever build. Megaroad-01 lost contact with Earth sometimes in 2016, and as of 2059, their fate is still a mystery.

Another question: Does anyone knows what's VF-X and VF-X2's storyline is about? I'm quite curious about that game myself.

Just two (silly) questions: What is the type of the ships that the 'bugs' in Macross F destroyed, and is Macross Frontier a Megaroad-class ship? I'm not good in identify ships...

Apparently from another thread, we know that AVG is no responsible for our problem. I still wonder if there's some program that block our access to the site. Cyde01, can I know what version of browser do you use? I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.10

Althrough I don't have the luxury of having another computer to use my own connection, I can safely say that my ISP doesn't blacklist MW, since the computer I'm using in internet cafe also use the same ISP as in my home, and there's no problem entering the site. I think my problem is quite similiar with what cyde01 have. BTW, FYI my home IP is 219.95.32.185 (server IP 219.93.218.177)

Same problem seems to happen to me, too! I have posted in Macross Nexus about the topic with cyne01, and I have concluded that maybe the firewall in MW is blocking both me and cyne01. We have no problem accessing the site using ip address of MW, althought lot of function is still not available using the ip (ie logging to MW forum). I'm using another computer to post here, which strangely can access the site despite using the same ISP.
