I got 6 of these last week. All the VF-1Js, the VF-1S Fokker & Hikaru and the 1A CF. These are no 1/60v2s for sure, but I just don't have enough space to diplay my 1/60v2s at all right now, so these are a great & cheap alternative. I have them set up with 2 Regults (and a heavy artillery Regult as soon as it arrives) & its very very cool. They look great! My VF-1A CFs paint job is pretty good though, almost matched perfectly... not as bad as some of the pics I have seen. My only gripe is that almost all of them had cracked joint rings (where the forearms & knees connect) right out of the box! They are all for display so it shouldn't be too much of a problem but still, I wish Toynami addressed this like Yamato addressed the 1/60v2 shoulder joints. I will buy more if they put them out, like the rest of Vermillion squad and a VF-1D.

Maiden Japan - those are the pics! Thank you for posting. GREAT job on the GBPs. Do you think we can expect another wave of 1/100 valks? GBPs? A Glaug? haha, I'm having a sandwich of wishful thinking right now.

I remember seeing pics from a con (and a really really cool display) of these and there was a Max TV 1A... Does anyone have a link to those? Any word on a series 5? I'd love a VF-1D, TV Max & Kaki (to complete Vermillion) and a 1A CF that has matched colored parts (because the 2-tone tan/beige SUCKS), oh and the GB parts! A quick question on the VF-1A CF... do they all mismatched colored parts? Jenius - do you have a review of Series 4 coming soon?

I just got 2 of these. Awesome! I like this version a bit more than the Revoltech. I'll be getting a heavy artillery version... maybe panel line it too. Any chance of getting a Glaug/Officer's Battlepod? Please? We need someone to lead these Regults/Battlepods into action!

I just want to get at least the Phalanx, especially after seeing the prototype. I really want a Spartan too as it's one of my favorite Destroids. Here's a thought Yamato... Put it in a 2-pack with a TV Queadluun-Rau, like a battle pack! A lot of fans want that too, so kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

wow - they bombard us with valks & Destroids galore and then 2 months of nothingness. My wallet isn't complaining, but man I want to finish these off!

Not getting the 1J CF, I'll wait for a 1A CF. I still have to order my Kaki TV 1A, and I think that's why they're doing the CF as a 1J b/c it's very similar to the Kaki TV version. I still want a 1A CF tho. To be honest, I'd rather have an Alaska Base generic (same as CF except green) as I'll have the Kaki.

I am STILL waiting for my Defender to ship from Over-Drive! I ordered it beginning of February and they are aparently out of stock on it for 1 whole month now. The Phalanx should be awesome, looks great so far!

For me, there are *maybe* 4 more 1/60 Valk's I'd like. A Kaki TV which I just can't afford to p.o. right at the moment, but I will get him! And the Max/Milia 1J's & a 1A CF (when they come out). Iffy on the 1A CF. I already have 4 with 1 more on the way (TV Max) possibly 2. I really hope they DO come out with more enemy mecha but my wallet is thankful they aren't. The rest of the stuff I collect: Star Wars - Only new CW figures, new mold Titaniums (only a few left I really want), a few Mighty Muggs and the 2 Animated Maquettes they have planned. Transformers - I think I am done except for the Animated Arcee (if she comes out) and the Mighty Muggs which I seem to be a sucker for (plus if my son grabs them, no prob). Maybe the 2nd NECA TMNT wave, if that ever comes out. But, I am trying to make this stuff IT. Space is limited, money is limited. I might have to skip on some Valks or some of the other stuff. We'll see.

Hells yeah... Regult (with & without missle accessories ala the strike/standard valks), Glaug, Nousjadeul-Ger, Queadluun-Rau (TV), even a Gnerl Fighter Pod would be sweet!!! I'd be in for 1 of each. Maybe 2 Regults.

Damn, I really want to pre-order this one... but after that steak last night and the fact I just pre-ordered the VF-1D, Max TV and ordered a Destroid Defender, my disposeable cash is zilch for the time being.

Damn, the Kakizaki TV 1A pre-order is up already? I'll have to wait, my funds are depleted after ordering the 1D & the Max TV 1A... I still need to order a Defender too. This is getting expensive!

What I don't understand is that since the heads are detachable, why didn't/doesn't Yamato release the DYRL VF-1 Hikaru & Max with BOTH 1A & 1S heads? Or just sell the heads seperately? (I'd pay $10 to $15 for a 1S head) I already have the Hikky 1A, I'm not going to shell more money out to buy a whole new valk just for a different head. Same with Max. I'll only get one, not both. There are so many other valk's I want to buy before I'm going to double up on 1 deco just for a different head. And these arent cheap either. Even without stike parts, these are over $100 when you factor in shipping. I mean, most of us are going to drop at least $1K on this new line alone (not counting the previous 1/60 line or the 1/48 line). Lets think... does/will the v2 VF-1D have tampo printing or just a sticker sheet? All photos I have seen have no tampo & only one shows stickers on the cockpit... I really hope it has some tampo on it like the others.

Ordered my VF-1D v2.0 from Overdrive... My first order with them, so I hope all goes well. Wanted to order fron LAF but Carlos has been hit or miss lately, real slow at email responses too. I'm skipping the Hikky 1S, I already have his 1A and 1J TV. I'd be game for a 1A Max TV or his 1J... a Milia would be nice too. Oh, and a 1A CF!!!

What ever happened with the Defender? I went to pre-order a couple weeks ago and it said "order stop" and HLJ / LAFT don't have a pre-order up yet. Were these delayed or am I s.o.l.?

Ah - that VF-1D is fine by me... yeah, they look a little crammed, but it's really nit-picking. I'm just happy they're releasing it in the 1/60 v2 line!

I too am waiting for my Destroid Tomahawk from LAF... was charged on the 3rd and still notta & no reply to email. Got my non-strike Roy from them just fine, so probably no worries. I got my Higgy from my bro-in-law (who is stationed in Okinawa) a few weeks ago. No problems to report. I wonder when the 1D pre-orders will go up, and what might be coming out after that!
