    The whole thing is a hot mess, even the subbed version seems off, the Japanese audio is ok but the subtitles have been changed in places.

    Normally I prefer the original Japanese subs, however with Evangelion, I kinda like the original dub better, I know that's slightly blasphemous but just my preference.

    My old DVD's are in the storage unit somewhere but correct if I'm wrong. ADV Films did do the original (late 90's) DVD dub right? I remember getting these when Anime Plus was still in business in Northridge.

    Trying to watch the Evangelion on Netflix right now, the new dub isn't very good IMHO. The sound effects & background music have been re-edited too.... definitely not the old school ADV release. If you want to have your nostalgia mind trip and enjoy this series, break out the old DVD's.

    Just finished watching this one. I highly recommend it and if Christina Applegate does not get an award for her acting... there's something wrong in the world.

    Take away that pointy finger part and those hands were great, they actually locked and gripped the bloody rifle. (Now of course, fixed pose just hands just rule!)

    I've been wanting to see this one for a while now, the very end is not how I hoped it would have ended but overall a very good movie, the animation is topnotch and the story is pretty good too. Available on Netflix right now.

    Well with Fear the Walking Dead being a total dumpster fire so far, good thing for this show. So far, not to shabby.
