Nice!! Your Cannon Fodder squadron just got that much better.
-
Those must have come and gone super fast, I don't remember seeing those ever being offered.
-
Just saw these on Ebay, if you need a HMR VF-1A Cannon Fodder just to keep in Battroid mode this seller has two. $39.99 each. Not sure if that's a great deal or not for what you're getting. https://www.ebay.com/itm/133772406563?hash=item1f2574ef23:g:6~IAAOSwy15grpSL

@joscasle Thank you for the list of paints that you used, I'll see if I can come up with something similar. I look forward to you completed Valk! Just a quick shot of what I have going on, this is my first 1/48 VF-1 kit and so far I am very happy with how it assembles. I'm sure when I eventually get a Weapons Set kit I'll change my tune, for now this thing is pretty awesome.

Looks great so far, love the use of magnets! I'm also working on a VF-1A CF with Fast Packs. Just curious, what shade of paint did you use for the light brown?

Not directly about about Cobra Kai however my neighbor was having electrical work done yesterday and the utility van caught my attention for some reason.

If you're hinting at the VF-31A, I would much more prefer that.

Congrats on getting one, it's an awesome looking Valk and one probably never to be re-issued! On a side note for you VF-1A Cavalier owners, the light grey on the lower legs... would you say that is a Light Bluish-grey or more a light Cool-grey color similar to the 1/48 Low Vis Navy? Hard to tell as I do not own one... yet.

I'm not a big fan of TWE's but this might be the way to go.

Thanks everyone, the RVF-19 & Drones were a fun build and I have more projects on the list to complete. @MechTech What mecha is that from, I like it. @Thom I'm not on top of my WWII fighters like I used to be, is that a Spitfire in the works? This is what the Drones are escorting.
-
Thanks @peter These drones came with the Variable Bandai 1/72 RVF-25 kit. I lost the baggie that had the correct small pieces so I had to some minor kit bashing to complete them.
-
Thank you @Mintox, a few months ago I decided to build one of my VF-19 kits and wondered how it would look as a reconnaissance variant, after that I figured I needed the drones too.
-
So in my warped mind I thought what if SMS turned to New Edwards and asked, "Can you rig up a VF-19 Advance as a Recon unit for us to try out?" New Edwards responded, "I think we can rig something up." And here we are, along with some customized RVF-25 type Drones.
-
So a while back I bought some "loose" 1/72 RVF-25 Drones, lots of the little pieces were in a baggie and naturally I lost the baggie. So with a bunch of other spare parts I came up with this.
-
Same here on the VF-0A, I'd honestly be happy with a regular reissue (you know a PF will be very $$$) with all the QC improvements of the 0S.
-
Nope, nada, zero! That said. "IF" they do and that's a big "IF" you'll feel a shockwave across the internet if it happens.

The Age of Shadows - Very good! Memories of Murder- Enjoyed it a lot! Burning- Still on my list. Train to Busan- This movie could have been a hot mess and yet overall, not to shabby. I'd watch it again. The Wailing & The Witness- Added to my list. $700.00 Loan... Nope! While not Vampire/Zombie films I'm actually a fan of the Whispering Corridors series. While they're not really scary or demented I do prefer a creepy story vs. a Jump scare/gore fest. @sqidd Thanks dude, I've added this one to the movie list to, looks good!

I'm doing pretty much the same with a VF-1A & 1J that I purchased that yellowed. There are screw hole covers on the legs, so you'll have to carefully remove those and hopefully then you can unscrew/disassemble them. So far on both of my VF's I either have screw cover that pop right on off OR appear to be glued on OR worse the little screws started to strip as I tried to remove them. I have a feeling I'll be using a ton of masking tape for my projects vs. an all out disassembly. Keep us posted on your projects, an Ozma VF-1 sounds pretty damn cool! This pic attached shows the covers and are on the inside portion of the legs.

You and I are now friends! I've been recommending this film for years, Kim Ok Bin & Kong-ho Song are fantastic in this movie.
