Will there ever, ever, ever be a Macross series where we see Hikaru and Misa again with the Megaroad/Frontier Fleet? I know that Shoji Kawamori and has made sure never to bring them back, But with the constant change in character designs for macross, is it possible for a new company to buy up some copyrights and make a new series? I know their is the new Macross Frontier series coming up, But I have to tell you the truth, I am a little worried already its gonna be a disappointment, But I have been wrong before... Hopefully I am wrong on this judgment. What do you all think, should we have a planned series, Just one Big movie where the Hikaru, Misa, Minmei and the VF-4 are all seen again? To all frontiers, lets hear what you think!!

Well heres some food for thought, If Yamato is a NO go for ever making these Fighters a reality. What other company out there could possibly pull it off. I would suggest Bandai but they seem to be more Model kits than anything. Their Macross 7 Valkyries are not much to behold... Fun to own, but only so-so. The Old school VF-1's are still the classic and my personal favorites. I have the new WAVE 1/5000 SDF-1 Macross. I like it and its very well built, Maybe they (WAVE) ought to take a swing at the VF-4 & VF-2SS Valk's.? Also who is the company making the new MOSPEADA toys...maybe them? What do you guys think? What say you Graham, How do we get the word out?

To answer you Ratchet, First Yamato put out the Original 1/60 Diecast VF-1 Valkyries, (Which I have almost all of those, Love the VT-1 and VE-1) Then they knocked us out with the larger 1/48 scale. (I only have a few of those...$$$$) But for what ever reason when Yamato released the Macross Zero line of Toys, they were resized as 1/60 scale. But are the same size basically of the 1/48 scale. So when you read everyone saying I'll take it in 1:60, Just think the 1/48 scale Valkyries. I personally love the MACROSS DYRL SDF-1. But if WAVE does anymore projects. I hope to see a Larger TV version.

Don't be so sure my friends, How many times have we heard, Never, NO , don't think so, Not gonna happen.... the squeaky wheel gets the oil and if companies want to stay in business, they will answer to their base if they want to keep making money. Look at Wave and their new SDF-1, They said that was it. No more.... Ummm, Now they have a newer version coming out, Why because people asked for it. Besides, you think that Shoji Kawamori wouldn't mind a few extra bucks in his pocket. He's gotta get some royalties for all this stuff. After all he designed them. Well except for the Macross II Valk's. When you roll over and accept instant defeat, you never get what you want.

Hey Pioneers, Just wondering...again. Do you all think if we bug Yamato enough they would consider making the VF-4 Lightning III (Flashback 2012) and the VF-2SS (Macross II) in new the 1/60 scale size. Variable in all 3 modes. I only have the VF-2SS in the Bandai model kit and it is an amazing Valkyrie design, probably one of my favorites. and the VF-4 only in drawings. Though the VF-4 Lightning III is only seen for a few minutes on the screen, it is such an under appreciated design that needs to come to life!!!! I guess my point is this, If Yamato is bothering to make both Stealth, Woodland camo and 25th Anniversary Valk's, then why not make 2 Valkyries that actually exist in the macross time line and make us fans happy. Even though Macross II was not the best of series and most prefer to trash it based on the story, the Valkyrie designs were awesome. The VF-2JA was a really good mecha design too. I guess only time will tell as well your opinions.

Well It looks like my posting definitely reached quite a few macross fans out there. Looks like everyone has their views as far as "well it wasn't my favorite, so what ever..." To more of my view point which is "lets go back and rework this puppy to its full potential" Either way Macross Zero as a whole is a good series, Could be better though. But lets face it, Anime in Japan is what Hollywood Movie making is here in the USA. When your funding gets dropped or cut, you make do with what you have. I always wondered why it was only 5 episodes long. I just hope this new Macross series coming up is well funded, well written and a clear ending. So what ever your opinion is, Your entitled to it and please share it. We can only hope that MACROSS is here to stay for a very long time to come. P.S. Haruhiko Mikimoto is still the best character designer out there, Hopefully Shoji K. and Him will patch things up and go to work again in the macross world.

Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone else out there feels like I do, Some what lost after watching Macross Zero. Though the animation and action sequences are amazing and even the music is pretty good. I just felt the story was very rushed and like X-files, way to many questions left unanswered. the same way that they took Macross Plus and made new footage, extra dialog for it to tie up the loose ends. I feel that they should take a swing and do the same for Macross Zero. And no more reusing or repeating the same scenes to save time. Would be nice to get a better background on Shin, Roy, A better view of the Macross when it crashed. Lets meets the newly formed UN Spacy and Anti-UN forces. Was that the same City-Ship under the sea as we saw in DYRL ?? I don't mean to ramble. But it would just be such a great piece of Anime with such potential, to be completed. Make it a full and satisfying Film, not something that got rushed into production. And yes, how about a recap ending, instead of just Shin flying off into the sunset. What happens to Roy afterwards (Yes I know the TV series and DYRL) Show the Anti UN surrender, Explain why the VF-0 Phoenix was replaced, What happens Mao. you know, start a story and end it. Let be honest, enough requests and interest. Big West, Bandai and Yamato will see the $$$ signs. What do you guys & gals think?
