  1. I couldn't have said it better!!!
  2. For the price of these toys, things like legs breaking or screws popping out shouldn't he happening at all, unless you drop it concrete or something. Otherwise...... But again maybe for the DX VF-25 that was an isolated incident.
  3. This financial crisis is so messed up, I've been collecting since my 1st Macross toy in 1985, yes by some weird factor there were 2 of the Japanese release SDF-1's at a Toys'R'us. (Are they still in business??) But now a days its spend money on only what you really need. I've been running my home business for about 7 years now Via Ebay and my website, but the times being what they are, Thats why I am living here in Lawrence, KS now instead of sunny Temecula, CA with an ocean breeze all day!! Also I do have some family here, thats helps a bit!! But at this point it doesn't matter whether you make video games, your a teacher, retail or a home business. Right now its Darwin's theory at its best until things get better, And really sad that companies like Bandai & Yamato are teasing us with all these new toys that most (Not all) but most us really can't afford. I mean come on, wouldn't we all love to have a mass collection of these Valkyries, I know I would. Yet reality for me is a trip the mechanic this week for my truck, rent, food and resupply for my Business. Ebay: 505th82ndairborne if your curious.... So in all seriousness, good luck to everyone and I hope you all can hang in there with your jobs and lifestyles, Financially things have to get better, right??
  4. It has to be stronger that the Toynami Alphas that come fresh from the factory already in broken pieces!! You wouldn't be hinting at the VF-0 would ya??
  5. Thanks guys, I've seen this fighter before, but forgot what its designation number was. This is one of the best designs out there, I am suprised its never been in any of the Macross productions yet. or at least a produced model kit. I'm saving the pics of this one so i don't forget next time!!!
  6. Ask a question, get an answer, I like that!! That puts the Battle Frontier in a better perspective for me on its size vs. the SDF-1. Thanks Letigre
  7. Exactly!!!
  8. This is an odd question, so here goes. So far I am reading alot from others on this thread, will the Macross Quarter be in scale with Yamato's SDF-1. The Macross Quarter, is just that a 1/4 the size of the Battle Frontier. Are the original SDF-1 & Battle Frontier the same size ships??
  9. Which fighter is this one?? SW-XA1 Schneeblume?
  10. I agree with you Regult, kinda suprised there was no sign of the VF-27 or Vagra kits. Although on one of the Otaku sites from the Show there a some SD VF-25's & a SD VF-27.... So maybe more pictures need to emerge from the show or later on we'll see something. But I can not imagine the VF-27 won't be released soon!!
  11. I'm kinda curious myself as to what that color scheme is!!??
  12. Your kidneys will cover the shipping and one lung for the down payment!!!
  13. If this new SDF-1 did come with 2 sets of cannons, that would be awesome. One set as you see it above, and then another set of cannons blown apart as seen in DYRL when they are on the Protoculture city. That would be sick!!!
  14. Same here!!!!
  15. I don't know if will get lucky enough for that, then again for its price tag.........
  16. Here are some pictures from the Launch ceremony in Japan this weekend, Not sure if this old or new, but I thought it looked cool, Enjoy!!
  17. I'm shocked how some are actually complaining about the size of the Yamato SDF-1, Thats its too big!! The original SDF-1 from the 80's is about 16 inches tall in fortress mode, and its a good sized toy, just add 8" more, sounds perfect too me. Its not like this thing is 10 ft long!! And once this SDF-1 sells out faster that sh*t, a TV version will definitely follow, guaranteed!!!!
  18. Answer: befriend Bill Gates!!!
  19. On the other hand, everytime so far Yamato releases a VF-1 lately, its not just one color scheme or pilot like Max, its the whole line 1A, 1A TV and his 1S and so on. Hell who knows, maybe a TV version will follow when they see were all set to shell out the dough for this one!! Its a crazy theory, but then again.............
  20. Hopefully some better pictures will appear of the bridge. this will have to do for right now!! Bandai may not have come through with flying colors on their VF-25 DX, but this Macross Quarter looks to be a real winner!!
  21. The VF-4 is gonna be amazing!!!
  22. I always like this color scheme too, I don't remember if it is ever seen in the TV series or not, I think it has a brief scene somewhere. But good colors non the less!!
  23. Hopefully some confirmation to the size shortly, especially now that we can see how frickin cool this thing is. Just imagine when it has all its War paint on!!
  24. I agree, what do you figure this might cost?
