  4. Only 4 more episode left!!! So what the hell is Kara? The Grim reaper or some supreme being? And we still have to wait til next week as to who or what Baltar is, is he #7 or just someone who gets lots of booty calls......
  5. I was just curious after going through this whole Destroid thread, is there any chance Yamato will make the the Tomahawk 1/60 in the white & orange color scheme, like the one pictured below?
  6. Its been years since I had the 1/144 scale kits, but if painted correctly they are great little models and best of all 2 for 1!! I did and still have somewhere the 1/100 VF-19 F/S kit, that one is really cool, transforms perfectly.... from what i remember.
  7. I wish I still had my VF-17 kit, well one day soon I'll get another one. Show more pics as your models develop!!
  8. Well said!!!
  9. Hopefully it will be, especially considering it will probably be an expensive toy!! We'll know in a few more days!!
  10. An amazing mecha, I always thought is was cool in Megazone 23, part II. That is some serious skill to have made that!!
  11. You've just become super unpopular here now!!!!! j/k!!! you opened the door for that one.
  12. Well I'm a few days late to this party, but I just saw the pictures of the VT-1, words can not describe how awesome that looks, even seems to have the correct raised bubble canopy, one more to Valkyrie to save up for!! Maybe I missed it, but are there pictures of a VE-1 as well???
  13. Thats an impressive review. I never really hated Southern Cross, but never loved it, I think I'll watch it again, its only been like 8 years since I last did. But as its been said before AND RIDICULED TOO, A shame there was never a sequel or a true ending, I'll bet modern day Anime artists would make this series awesome. And the bashing to this comment begins in 3,2,1.....
  14. Dam!! I'm 32 and I bow to you for that with the tape deck!! I haven't watched RT or Mospeada/new gerneration in about 8 years now, but after all this discussion of the toys, the series, and what we do & don't like about, I broke out the DVD's (My VHS tapes wore out long ago), I'm 1/2 way through, gotta say, I had goose bumps & chills, totally amazing to see it all again!!
  15. I'll bet the impact was like a sledge hammer, I raced home everyday to tape it on my VCR, for you younger generations a VCR dates before DVR, Tivo or DVD players!!! j/k!! Great old school memories!!
  16. Thanks Eriku!! I've been going back and forth on these VF's for a while, the more i see them, the more I like. Time to start saving some $$$!! Thanks bro!!!
  17. Great quote, I was still in 5th grade when this came out, and its still cool!!!
  18. I missed out on much of the old postings, whats the quality like on these toys? Other than the bent lasers, are they solid or do they seem fragile? I like the VF-25, but I'm waiting for Michel's unit, love the sniper rifle!
  19. The D-Day invasion is a given, the B&W stripes on the Fighters, classic WWII touch. I'm a WWII buff myself. Mospeada, great series!!
  20. I always thought Mospeada or RT New Generation your choice, was a great series. Lots of action, surprises, some silliness. Agreed the episode with the river rafts for transporting aircraft was bit far fetched, as a Legioss & Tread must be heavier than $h*t fully loaded. Its a Shame there was never a true sequel by now. As for the shows premise and concept, Older Anime series out of the late 70's & 80's used a lot of WWII exploits and concepts in their story lines. I always thought of the series with Stick and his crew as something like the French & Dutch underground's in Nazi controlled Europe. Read some books, you'd be amazed the stuff the Underground rebels pulled off, weapons, tanks & aircraft, blowing up railways and assisting the Allied troops during the invasions. And using what ever they found along the way. Playing double spies, secret maps and infiltration missions too. Not much different than the gang finding more Legioss fighters and a Tread, keeping a low profile, striking when needed, infiltrating the old base in the mountains, getting more weapons from the crazy old guys in the desert, and then assisting the Main fleet when they arrived to destroy Reflex Point. Sorry all, I have some free time today and felt like rambling a bit, plus I have a cold so I think the medicine is talking as well!!
  21. That would be sweet!!
  22. This one ( VF-2SS w/SAP ) is a must in my book!! Maybe the wait will be worth it?
  23. Bandai is doing all it can to let sneak peeks of the Macross Quarter out, but no full blown pictures yet. Hopefully this weekend.
