I apologize to those that are now calling me "blasphemer" or "captain obvious" for my tendency to rant. I think the bottom line is, we love this ship and we can't wait for it to come out. Well your definitely not a "blasphemer" and the occasional rant is cool too!! Sometimes we just need to vent and let it all out!!

The problem with Shadow Chronicles is simple, I have it, I've watched it a few times and have to say, its the same old result of Harmony Gold. When you take something you never created and or envisioned, then try to make it your own, well you get: The Shadow Chronicles". The fact its supposed to start where Mospeada/ New generation leaves off, they ended re making scenes where Rey, Rook and Yellow, Mint and Jim, etc should all be, instead they were written out (Lame!!!). At the end of RT new generation/Mospeada we clearly see the Fleet is wiped out by the Regiss. And in R.S.C. there they are ready to find Admiral Hunter, as well as the guy Louis who was from The Southern Cross era, wtf??? And then new enemy's who are very unoriginal and look like something borrowed from Mac Plus. Granted many of us, my self included raced home to watch RT in 85-86, and as good as it was back then. I can still stomach the New Generation at times, Macross Saga not as much as anymore unless I feel like being totally nostalgic or high, either one. But its just gotten worse, especially with Shadow Chronic, I mean Chronicles. All these years to get something right and they still blew it. As far as getting a New MOSPEADA series, who knows?? The fact that companies have been producing all new Toys is a positive sign!! FINAL THOUGHT: HG should just go under, out of business and loose its rights so ALL the Macross stuff that CAN'T be imported to the US markets now, could then be purchased here and professional companies & Studios handling Macross Anime series, Dubbed or Subbed, your choice!!!!

The "Highway Star", I watched episode 4 over and over again just to hear Priss say "GO!!" and open the throttle on that bike!!! Wish they would make a 1/60 of that item!!! The sketch above looks just as cool!!!

Are the DYRL & TV Series SDF-1 the same size or is one larger than the other? I always get the impression that the DYRL is a larger vessel over all.

Hey MT, nice collection of WWI-WWII Rounds & casings. Is that a sampling of what you have or much more in the garage? Reminds me of the older days when I had items like that. I still have a wooden Ammo box or 2, but the 88mm and 105mm shells I had (Both WWII) are all long gone. Also the stores link you posted, Nice selection of deactivated weapons. Thompson's, Garand's and Carbines, very nice!!

The neck isn't squished down on the 1/100. Thats why they invented ultra fine pens.... Panel lining!!!!

VF-2SS and the Metal Siren, you have good taste Uxi but since Bandai has the license to Macross II and its not blasphemy, I like the series and mecha, I'm not sure Yamato would do these. However, just slightly off topic, with the new 1/100 scale toys releasing and the VF-2SS on the list, and if its a really good seller, who knows a 1/60 scale could be possible.

A 1/60 scale Monster... that destroid would truly earn its name in that scale size!! But agreed Yamato is capable of doing it, just depends how bloody expensive it would be!! people are trippin balls on the SDF-1's supposed price tag. I like Phalanx, but want to see a Spartan 1/60. thats my favorite!!

Well your not to far out of the loop, So far as of a week later we know its a yamato 1/2000 scale SDF-1 DYRL version. Release date, sometime next year and price, speculation is around $500.00, but could change by next year!! If it looks good to you now, just think how it will look with the proper colors applied!!

Looks good to me and affordable. Its a parts former, but doesn't bother me at all. Still looks better than the DX version in Battroid mode!!

Well its a good thing for spray paints and Airbrush!! If it is strictly from the old RT toy line, then yeah, Yamato won't touch it.

Well put. I guess when times get tough we start to get angry and let our emotions get the better of us, instead of looking to the future and any bright sides that on the horizon. I guess in a nut shell for all my venting, sorry if I sounded like some raging nut. Just kinda gets ya down when all these great Macross items are coming out, much of it I always wanted since I was kid. And well, rent, bills (to many bills) and food come 1st. But as i said before, I have lots of great Macross toys & models as is, So I am going to enjoy them as much as I can, and live vicariously through others collections in the mean time!! And the only real values out there and when we respect each other!! TV is just that, TV.

Theres going to be a battle to end all battles before this series finishes!!!

Seriously I've been watching the series since it started, I either never noticed or some how forgot, weird!!! Either way though our baby is dying..... I haven't seen seasons 1 & 2 since they came out and missed the 3rd season, here and there on DVD. But so far in the 4th, 1st time I really remember seeing it.
