  1. Wow!!! Which is better, all 3 1/48's of Vermilion Squadron or the 3 Old school Battle pods!!?? Can't decide!!
  2. Awesome VF-1A Miriya Kicker!!!
  3. I'll put some pics up for you soon, Its a great book to own, every little detail of the DYRL movie is in it!!
  4. Oh you'll see some epic battles!!
  5. Thanks Azrael & Yellowlightman, sounds like good simple advice and it gives me a better idea where to start from. If I do decide to take some classes on how too to do the basics, what does sometime like Adobe Dreamweaver cost?? Thanks, 505th!!
  6. Well so far the really good news is that Battlestar Galactica has been such a hit with both Scifi & Non Scifi fans that it opened the doors for this prequel So If Caprica pulls off another win for the franchise, either two possibilities which is other series dealing with this Universe will continue or what I have been reading and hearing from others is that Caprica will start off how we see it in the trailer on Youtube, but eventually take us into the major battles that disrupt the 12 Colonies, Battlestar's in action and hopefully a much younger Adama & Colonel Tigh in Vipers!! But as always, we have to wait and see what unfolds. Waiting sucks!!!!!!!!!
  7. Not trying to go too far off topic here, as this does sort of involve the SDF-1 and others have raised the issue, For those of you who don't have the Macross Gold Book. Here are the 2 only known images of the ASS-1 or the Macross after being rebuilt. As for the Yamato 1/2000 SDF-1, after the WAVE version came out, everyone said for the most part, we need a bigger SDF-1. Talk about "careful what you wish for", Yamato heard you and said, heres a big Frakin SDF-1. If this one should sell good which I think it will, a 1/2000 TV SDF-1 is sure to follow.
  8. Hey guys, Hope this kinda question is ok to ask here?? I've seen this thread many a time and thought I would ask away, You guys seem really seem knowledgeable on your Computer parts and hopefully what software to use. Currently I have a Dell - Studio XPS Desktop / Intel® Core™ i7-920 processor Features 4 processing cores, 8MB L2 cache and 2.66GHz processor speed per core. Anyways, I've been pondering on the idea of making my own website for my Business and a few others I want to start up. I know in 2009 how do you run a business without your own website, well its called Ebay for now and it blows!!!! And over the years I did have 2 websites for my Artwork and Anime projects, which have all gone under as the people who made them for me over the years either ran off with my $$$ or decided they would not maintain or Host them for me any longer. So with my new PC, I'm hoping I have enough RAM and Gigs to make it on my own..... yes the old saying is very true. Is there any soft ware out there you would recommend on how build, make, construct a website. Functional with videos, downloads, all that good stuff. Any helpful hints would be great!!
  9. I had that same thought when I saw all this today..... Hmmm. What strange goings on.
  10. I thought i would brush the dust off this old thread, With BSG (Sadly) coming to an end. The new series/prequel "CAPRICA" will be coming out soon. Latest info: ****Caprica is an upcoming television series set in the fictional Battlestar Galactica universe. Set 50 years earlier, Caprica will tell the story of how humanity first created the robotic Cylons, who would later plot to destroy human civilization. An extended version of the pilot will have its world premiere exclusively on DVD on April 21, 2009.[1] In early 2010, the first season, composed of the two-hour pilot and 18 hour-long episodes, is expected to begin airing on the Sci-Fi Channel in the United States.***** My two cents, I thinks its going to be a really inventive series, there was a lot of griping and complaints when BSG was 1st released as an updated version of the original, unless you live in a hole, its probably one the series ever made in recent history, especially for Sci-Fi. So when the 1st episode or Pilot comes out, I'll definitely give it a try. There will be plenty of intrigue, war, violence and suspense involved!!! This is the Official Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQlhlHwXjj0
  11. I just lost my lunch watching that!! Ben Affleck should be no where near, mentioned or in plain sight of anything MACROSS!!!!
  12. That jacket looks much better on ya Hikuro!!!
  13. The 1/72 scale Destroid were made by Imai and they are older kits, late 80's. Maybe a re release in the 90's. but they are pricey if you can find them. But the detail is fantastic even today!!!
  14. Give it time, they might just go for it!!
  15. Definitely Jetfire!!! But thats a whole other topic & toy!! I've seen that 1/48 version before with more pics, Love it!!
  16. Take your time my friend, good things are never rushed!!!
  17. Hey balstaf87, Welcome to MW!! Well for your 1st post, heres yoru 1st answer, mine is long gone But I had that model kit and a few others, they are relatively easy to assemble, just gotta take your time and follow the pictures, Good thing is that part "B6" is is "B6" in English or Japanese. If someone does have translated instructions, you might find them here in a archive thread. As for paints, Tamiya is your best bet, good choice of colors and smooth application. Both in spray can and bottles for a brush. Or if you have an Airbrush machine, shoot, just mix your own custom light brown. And a flat or off white if you want a slightly used look. I'm sure others will post their tips or give you some better pointers on how to make your kit the best one possible!!! Good luck on it, keep up posted!!
  18. Cool8or that Tomahawk is superb and extremely detailed!! You just need a pilot for the Destroid and your set!! the Parade picture is awesome!!
  19. If and when a Spartan Destroid comes out, think it will have both a std. Pilot and Ichijo included? As well a ground crew and opening hatches.
  20. That would have been great a selling feature, but I think Bandai was going for a total 80's nostalgic vibe with these. But after the Yamato 1/48 1/60 system.... Well its hard to be as excited as when you were 10 y/o in 1985 and seeing a Jetfire or Bandai VF for the 1st time!!!
  21. The VF-11B, its a thing of beauty!!! Can't wait to get one!!
  22. You still going to get a VF-171 or VF-2SS in 1/100 if there made Graham, or just give it enough time for 1/60's to made in the future?
  23. A custom 1/48 JETFIRE!! State of the Bad A$$ art!!!
