As I said on one of the other threads, its a shame when Hollywood gets the License/copyrights to a Book, Manga/comic or Anime piece. They usually ruin it. And Starship Troopers was ruined badly!! I'd love to see a remake of the film (Power Armor of accurate design) by either Ridley Scott or Christopher Nolan behind the camera. And yes, surprisingly Part 3 was better.

I love the idea of a Live Action BGC movie, but so VERY often Anime, Manga & comics that get turned into films usually get ruined in the process. Hopefully the writers, producers & Director are die hard fans of the series and won't Frak it up!!

That Sky Raider is awesome!! When I lived in CA. years back I saw one fly into Van Nuys Airport for a refueling, Got to see it taxi out on the runway, rev its engine up and haul ass!!! The Pilot was allowed a fly by, super sweet!! I'd definitely buy that one and a F-14 in a Jolly Roger Hi Vis scheme!!

As for the color scheme it looks ok, However if they are going to make anymore Roy VF-1S's, why not just a pure & Accurate TV series version. With Roy's signature Dark grey & black uniform, thats what I want. I meant $hit Kakizaki had his TV version made!!!

Still nothing new just as of yet. Still waiting for new pics on the Phalanx and No word at all if a SPARTAN is in the works. (but most of us are hopin for that Spartan!!!)

The fact that its a 1/48 makes my day, but the question, unless i missed something. Does this bad boy transform. Either way i'll get one, but if its variable, all the better!!! Just think of the custom 1/48 squadron you could make with these!!

I honestly feel that since Bandai is doing there 1/100 scale line with a VF-2SS and now this one. I think more people will be sold on its design and others will follow like the VF-2JA & Metal Siren and S.A.P.

Starship Troopers was a fun movie none the less, I agree that it had very little to do with the book and NO Power Armor, I was bummed too. Still a fun & entertaining movie despite its rank of B-class actors. (The "B" stands for Beverly Hills 90210) But come on Doogie Howser M.D. as a General with mind control and a Nazi like uniform. Whats not to like!!!

Those are sick man!! If I had to choose which one looked better, a choice could NOT be made. Both are awesome!!
