Thats how I first saw DYRL, 1985, 9 y/o. Didn't know a word of Japanese. Awesome anime, tons of stuff blew up and the music blew my mind!!! After that I was a Macross fan 4 life!!

The Differences between DYRL & SDF Macross are Not day and night. Still the same basic layouts on the VF-1, But between the Character Designs & The Mecha, Kawamori & Mikimoto allowed themselves to add a hell of alot more detail to the initial designs. I prefer the DYRL hands, much more detail. Although the Meltrandi Fleet and Badolza's Flag ship, Zentradi Power armor were definitely tuned up!! As for the SDF-1, that is a day & night comparison with the TV series version!!

Just way to many good scenes to mention!! Macross is just one of those series you can watch over & over again, No matter which series it is!! Definitely all of DYRL!! In the series, Episode 1 when Hikaru shows off in his Fan Racer and out does the Valkyrie pilots, Roy gets pissed, Love that scene!! Max & Miria's Dog Fight scene!! Love Drifts away, best Episode ever!! Again, to much good stuff!!! Macross 4 Life!!!

1/60 Zentradi Battle pods, with pilots that can be removed. This way you can reenact when Max rips out that pilot in DYRL and blows his head off!!

Another Angel Bird VF-1A used as a Custom paint scheme!! Will look nice when repainted a 1D.

Newsflash: T3 was not that bad, in fact its a fun a movie to watch and the acting is quite good. This new terminator was not a good movie and though there are those who say you can't touch Terminator or T2. Hire Ridley Scott or Christopher Nolan to direct and there writing staff, if you did then this Terminator Salvation movie would have been a 3-4 star classic. McG is a hack of a director and the studio is to blame for hiring him!! I went and saw Star Trek last night!! Loved it, might go see it again!!

The moment I saw the Director was gonna be "McG", I knew this was not going to be a well made movie. James Cameron has already said that Terminator 2 ended his stories. T3 is a fun entertaining popcorn flick, but that was it, no more!!! I'm gonna go see Star Trek instead with my friends tonight, So far everyone has had good praise for that movie!!

Thanks! Wasn't sure if those were the same toys. I was just at my local hobby shop, they had a bunch of the reissue 1978 BSG model kits. I'm surprised Revell has not pondered whether to make any of the New designs. However maybe they can't afford new molds???
