    Interesting, a MAC II sequel or a MAC II remake so the story fits properly in the time line. The TV SDF-1 with modern Anime CGI artwork. I'd watch it. And buy a 1/2000 SDF-1 toy!!

    Same here, after I bought one for like $60.00+ on Ebay, a few months later the later the reissue came out for like $22.00 or so, I think it was less than that. I sure wish that Hasegawa could get the rights to make MAC II 1/48 Kits for right now. I know this topic is about potential toys being made, but I have this feeling that will be a long time from now.......

    I'll give ya that Seto Kaiba, then again in all reality of the Macross World, everything the UN SPACY and NUNS have is Alien technology under the Hood.

    Funny that you mention that Save, I'm working on my 3rd VF-2SS 1/100 kit right now, I have to say that I don't much in the way of any Zentradi influence there. the Designer probably figured in the 90's.... Hmmm, this looks like a cool design, plus Olive Drab & Dark green is a std Military color.

    I don't have the picture handy, but there is a Valkyrie in the OVA, all of 3 or 4 seconds in Episode 5. But its a hybrid Zentradi-Human built variable fighter. Looks cool. The VF-2JA & VF-2SS are definitely Earth design!!

    So many of you dislike/criticize the Macross II Valks, but can't stop talking about them..... Good or bad. I think secretly you really like them.

    Was at the movies last night and saw the Promo poster for this, It just had the artwork, No title, but you knew right away it was a Tim Burton film, I'm there!!

    The METAL SIREN isn't that bad, as a comparison, still looks better than Luca's VF-25 in Frontier, Ugly head & paint scheme!!

    SchizophrenicMC strikes again!! Though we haven't seen the Attack mode pics of the DYRL SDF-1. I was looking at my 1/3000 Bandai version last night, and I have to admit... I wanna see a TV SDF-1 actually a little more. The just amount of details that could put into it makes ones own mind go bananas!!

    I guess there would have to be some serious interest in order to make large scale toys. I just saw one of the Prop Raptor Helmets on Ebay sell for almost $2400.00 I don't even thing it was a Hero version.

    I have my book somewhere that shows the transformation process, quite complicated!! But that scene where they transform to gerwalk looks so awesome!! And agreed danth, she is a Sexy Bird!!

    Agreed, I bought my WAVE SDF-1 when they 1st came out, I like it so-so. But something like the SDF-1, heaven forbid a Macross Frontier, expensive or not, should be a Big Toy at 1/3000 scale minimal... But 1/2000 is even better!!

    It could be smaller at 1/3000 or remain at the proposed 1/2000 scale, Don't really care as long as the thing is built like a tank, has metal in it, no cracks, No shotty plastic and is detailed up the A$$!! Do all of that I'll save my $$$ for it!!

    So we've switched out Russian & Cuban/S.American forces for Chinese & Russian Troops. Call me crazy, I always liked the original the way it was!! But I guess thats just me.

    Its official, if it wasn't already that Hollywood is completely out of fresh ideas or creative writers. If you've seen the 1st Heavy Metal or like me ready the old Comics, its Old school animation, Bad A$$ soundtrack, fun, weird and trippy with a classical horrible script, but it was fun for the time. I just recently saw Heavy Metal 2000, ehhh, so-so at best. Another attempt at the franchise would have to be something truly jaw-dropping awesome!!

    Word!! I went an bought the CAPRICA DVD when it 1st came out, I thought it was awesome. I just hope the 1st season of episodes is just as good, if not better!!
