  1. Looks Awesome ikhii!! One day Yamato will male one, one day!!
  2. Agreed!! Would be nice to know that someone at Bandai and yamato read our comments!!
  3. I like the Beagle head better!!
  4. Looks great!! Just needs some paint!!!
  5. Are there any pictures due to come out ( Say in a magazine..) so we can see what this 1/48 actually looks like painted, detailed, etc?
  6. Looks awesome Talos!! I'm telling ya, If Yamato were ever to make a VF-4 in 1/60, All of these Insignias & paint schemes look so awesome on this bird, it would be an amazing seller!!
  7. I was thinking that too, maybe when he has more time, that will be a new addition!!
  8. Hopefully one of these days!!!
  9. Awesome link, It made my day!! Harold & Kumar go to Chuck E Cheese's!!
  10. Its Event Horizon Part 2. Looks average to me. Its probably another gore fest of a movie with no real plot, one liners and a ending that is as usual, up to the audience to figure out.
  11. A few more locking pegs and less partsforming would've helped the VF100s VF-25 toy. But it's the first in the line and a rather complex Valk at that, so I'll be patient and see how they improve as the line goes on. My Ozma is less floppy than my Alto so I have hope. I agree with you on the patience part, everytime one toy comes out with issues or complaints, Yamato and Bandai are pretty damn good and fixing the problem. And I am hoping as well that later versions will have less parts to swap out and improved quality!! I just some pics of the Toynami 1/100 in Fighter mode.... Yuck!!
  12. 505thAirborne

    Latest custom.

Amazing work Kurt!! Its truly a beauty!!
  13. Cant wait to see pictures of these kits when there made & painted up!!
  14. That was awesome, cheesy and I laughed my ass off!!!!
  15. Star Wars "The search for Jar-Jar Binks".
  16. Its kinda sad when I read some people reviews of this 1/100 series, I really thought Bandai would do a better job. On the Collection DX review of these toys, the reviewer actually hints that the Toynami 1/100 is a far better functional design. Come on Bandai get your $hit together and come up with a better toy design!! Cause I want to see the VF-171, VF-4 & VF-2SS.
  17. I love the VE-1, But I'm broke for now. Hopefully either reissues will follow or it will be around for awhile. But I agree with MacrossMan, best looking Valk so far. Detail is astounding!!
  18. I've seen a few people on MW whip out the old spray cans for that proper color. In the SDF TV series, Hikaru's VF-1S Armor has almost a Green-Gray color to it. As where DYRL is a darker Blue-Gray. I agree with the others that the TV series Armor is not the most accurate color for the series. Tamiya makes some really good Airforce shades of green that would work really well!!
  19. This was the 1st true Macross Toy I ever purchased!! Golden Apple Comics in Reseda!! I think it was 1985... Wish I still had that one!!
  20. I'm sure this one is on the Yamato "To do list"!!
  21. When Both of these projects were made both DYRL & SDFM, the whole crew was referred to as sticklers for detail!! So when they did the Space scenes they tried to keep the colors darker vs. Atmospheric scenes with brighter colors. Trying to reference colors from a 80's Animes series can be tricky. As theres lots of scenes where Roy's VF-1S has Black & Yellow tail fins one second, next they are B&W. Max has green hair one second & then blue again, etc. As for the color schemes "reddsun1" posted, I'd buy Valkyries from Yamato if they came like that!!!
  22. I hear that, used to go to the IMAX at Universal City Walk, $10.00 more than a regular theater, sound isn't any better and really uncomfortable seats!! Saw Star trek and loved it, Didn't like TS. I'll go see Night at the Museum instead!!
  23. Poor Kakizaki, that guy just can't get a break!! Or a Sirloin.
