I was just reading the link that DarrinG posted, and yes the info on this movie is pretty much top secret, yet is this film going to be Live action or just one big CGI film? Since Cameron is Directing, if comparing what he did with ALIENS and the technology of the time, especially the Aliens & the Power loaders, I can only imagine this Film with Real actors & the best CGI or Model-Prop work that Money can buy.

There was an Article months & months ago stating that M.Knight Shyamalan wants to do AVATAR the last Airbender and James Cameron was like Hell no, you can't use Avatar since thats the name for my Movie. So besides possible legal issues, childishness issues as well.

If an when they ever make a SDF-1 1/2000 or 1/3000 scale, its needs to be detailed like this CGI Model is, Looks phenomenal and its not even in full color!!

Interesting, a MAC II sequel or a MAC II remake so the story fits properly in the time line. The TV SDF-1 with modern Anime CGI artwork. I'd watch it. And buy a 1/2000 SDF-1 toy!!

Same here, after I bought one for like $60.00+ on Ebay, a few months later the later the reissue came out for like $22.00 or so, I think it was less than that. I sure wish that Hasegawa could get the rights to make MAC II 1/48 Kits for right now. I know this topic is about potential toys being made, but I have this feeling that will be a long time from now.......

Funny that you mention that Save, I'm working on my 3rd VF-2SS 1/100 kit right now, I have to say that I don't much in the way of any Zentradi influence there. the Designer probably figured in the 90's.... Hmmm, this looks like a cool design, plus Olive Drab & Dark green is a std Military color.

I don't have the picture handy, but there is a Valkyrie in the OVA, all of 3 or 4 seconds in Episode 5. But its a hybrid Zentradi-Human built variable fighter. Looks cool. The VF-2JA & VF-2SS are definitely Earth design!!

So many of you dislike/criticize the Macross II Valks, but can't stop talking about them..... Good or bad. I think secretly you really like them.

Was at the movies last night and saw the Promo poster for this, It just had the artwork, No title, but you knew right away it was a Tim Burton film, I'm there!!

How is the VF-2SS falling apart? That thing is sleek, sexy, Armored, big ass Railgun and like a Falcon.... Vicious!!!
