Hi all, do you any of you know if their are fixed pose hands out there that might be the right size/proportions for these old 1/72's? I think these 11B's would look a lot better with some upgraded hands. P.S. I've already repaired this ones legs/hips.

She's my only custom VF-1 at this time but considering Yamato never made a Cavaliers in 1/48, I'm happy to have this one. (Still trying find a spare Yamato 1/48 CF Pilot)

The VF-1D looks great as well those customs figures (Hikaru/Minmay), are those from EXO? Also, that Digital Camo strike VF looks intriguing.

All you need is a Hikaru & Minmay figure & that 1D is complete for a TV series display.

Oh I'm good with these three scales. To be honest I'm not a fan of the KC VF's (something off about them to me), for 1/72 scale I'm all onboard for model kits.

I have a VF-1S w/fast packs TV Hikaru in 1/48 & in 1/60... might as well get one of these too.

I watched it Sunday night, I think I'll watch it again before having a full opinion. I'll say this, they spared no expense on the sets, props & costumes/clothing. Even though it's only the first episode these new characters don't pop out at you quite like in GoT yet I feel as the show goes on these characters will come into their own. The Dragons look awesome, again no expense spared on the CGI. -
Love it!! Can't decide which one I like better. By the way, a seller on Ebay 2 days ago had a Yamato 1/48 VF-1D w/custom Fast Packs made by Kurt... who here went for it?

@pengbuzz I thought about it but that one will be repainted as a Mac 7 VF-11C. Just arrived this morning, this is the other VF-11B I ordered, she's virtually paint & scratch issue free & no yellowing. Definitely needs the legs repaired and a new antenna. I found some other spare parts online so eventually this one will be good as new.

@MechTech I have Mr. Hobby primer & Tamiya white spray paint on the way! Those yellowed parts are doomed!!

This is one of two Yamato 1/72 VF-11's I just recently picked up, good & cheap too! (I'll post pics of the other one when it arrives) I forgot to take pictures of this one before I dis-assembled it so these are the pics the seller used & as you can see, she's sun bleached all over. With that in mind I'll be repainting this as a Mac 7 VF-11C, while this is the 2nd Release with improved hip joints, the metal bar that holds the arms & wings snapped/broke off, so I I'll restore this as either a Battroid or Fighter mode only... I'll flip a coin as to which way I'll keep it. Older Yamato's or not when this & the other 11B are done, I'll have a total of 6 VF-11's and I'm all good with that.

I did the same this weekend, Matt's reaction to Geddy & Alex showing up on stage was priceless. Matt clearly no idea what was about to happen, Trey is a true friend.

Definitely one of the better shows out there, I liked season 1, loving season 2... I have one more episode to watch (stretching it out). Very happy to hear it's getting a third season.

I can now say I that have a TV VF-1S w/fast packs in 1/48 scale & now in 1/60. Just need to find a Hikaru pilot figure for it to be officially completed.

Same here, I lucked out on a 1/48 TV set of Fast Packs for about $110.00 shipped. It's why I like Mandarake, their listings are up front & quite honest.
