AKIRA LIVE ACTION MOVIE = Life Support?
505thAirborne replied to Macross007's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
There is only one AKIRA film and that is the Anime classic from 1988. Anything else is a bastard offspring of crap as so far no movie based or even remotely based on an Anime/Manga series from Hollywood has equaled quality or enjoyment. AKIRA & EVANGELION need to stay far away from Hollyweird!! Hollywood can have RT, I don't care about that one!! -
I'm no Rocket Scientist, but from the looks of the responses I'd say most are hoping for a VF-11 & the VF-4. I hope Hasegawa is looking. P.S. Nice to see some other votes for the VF-2SS!

1/72 scale VF-2SS+SAP, VF-4, VF-11B with optional Fast Packs & proper sized Tail stabilizers (All modes if possible), Enemy mecha, SV-51 & VF-0D Battroid kits. SDF-1 or Macross Quarter if your feeling limber Hasegawa!!!
-
I know it was Hasegawa touch for their model kits, but I would like to see ANGEL BIRDS printed on the legs, just gives it that extra bold look. Either way when ever these guys get released my VISA card will get a work out!

Hahaha!! Take that Justin Bieber. Was wondering when Matt & Trey were gonna take a shot at him, Great episode, lots of laughs!!
-
After seeing all these GN-U pics, I just picked up a few off line!! I like the Yellow VF-22 & Alaska Base types, the Green makes it mean!!
-
Those look awesome alchemo!! That is one sure way to have all the YF-19 & VF-22's in your collection. Its a shame Yamato never made just the Fighters, those would have a been a surefire sale for me!
-
I completely agree, I think its awesome of Yamato to suggest a compromise that could work for both the fans and their ability to make a profit. That said if we're talking SDF-1's here the TV & DYRL are Apples & oranges to me. Hopefully if sales are really good with this 1/3000 DYRL toy, an accurate TV version will be in the works.

Now that I've stopped drooling over your VF-0D, I am for sure getting a another VF-0D & Battroid kit. In all seriousness though, your kit came out amazing and the attention to detail is second to none!!!

Whats Lying on your Workbench MKIII
505thAirborne replied to HWR MKII's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Love the concept Thom, will the paint scheme be old school or a mix of both as well? Looking forward to this one! -
I just saw that I have it on my cable carriers ON DEMAND. Hmmmm, $6.99 to rent it, is it worth it? I'll flip a coin.

1/48+fp's, 1/60, And 1/72 Picture Gallery Pt 4
505thAirborne replied to VF-18S Hornet's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Since I won't be moving til next April I decided to take most of my stuff out and put the collection back out. Need to find room for my SDF-1 & other Valk's, just never enough room! -
These are just a few more items (pics shown) I'd like to see made as kits, especially Sylvie!! The VF-2JA is such an underrated mecha! Just like the VF-0 its only a atmospheric fighter, I like that concept. Cant wait to see this VF-2SS completed, the color scheme is super slick!! For anyone feeling limber with their VF-2SS kits, that pic of the Jetfire version is pretty frakkin cool.
-
After seeing both previews a few times, especially Skyline I'll wait for cable on these films.....
-
WOW! I have not seen those Legioss pics in a way long time, would be amazing if you could complete it... maybe make some kits too!
-
That is one amazing looking VF-0D, I like how you did more of a Low-Viz scheme of gray versus the usual bright blue & white. Aren't those helmet decals a delight to work with!!
-
That was classic, loved it!

What a shame. I hope they do a MUCH better job at promoting and pacing BSG Blood & Chrome for next year. -

Caprica! Dynasty Meets BSG

Pretty much my exact thought, when you don't properly promote a show, no one knows of it. Funny that SyFy promotes the hell of stuff like Ghost Hunters but a show like this one just got left behind. So will they at least try to wrap the story up with the remaining episodes, or does this show just end...? -

I'm sure I'm a lone voice here but that is Frakked up!! I've really been enjoying the show, the stories and even the acting, its a well done show and the pace is picking up. Sadly I had a feeling this show was headed for the shredder......
