  1. I'm surprised I missed that, (Got to wrapped up with the MK VII release) thanks for the heads up Mechleader. I'll definitely be looking forward to getting a Raider!!
  2. The VF-2SS, sexiest Valkyrie around!!! Love the color scheme & decals, superb job my friend!!
  3. Good to see everyone busy with their kits & projects, looking good!! Just picked up a third BSG MKII Viper. This one will be a Low Vis. US Navy type scheme and the landing gear down. Not sure if I'll have time but a diorama with grounds crew might happen as well. Also my budby at Smith Brothers Hobbies said the MK VII Viper will be another month or so and the idea of a Cylon Raider is doubtful. But I still have my fingers crossed for one!
  4. Just can't get into this design at all, and the color scheme on this example is weak at best. Those boosters/thrusters on the wings really make this YF-29 look ugly. The top view of this isn't to bad I suppose. Either way I'll take my VF-4 first!!!
  5. Looking good Ghost Train!! I like the F-35 alot, is there a good 1/48 kit some can recommend? Like Hasegawa or Monogram?
  6. I agree, way to soon to form any opinions just yet. CAPRICA was a good idea, sadly they didn't handle it right. With this new series: Battlestars, Vipers & Cylons blasting each other, sounds good to me.
  7. Simply amazing work Captain America, the attention to detail & the articulation is beyond words.
  8. Speaking of the BETA-Tread, anyone know if the Dark/Shadow Beta is still coming out? I just ordered the Green one, But I want to get the Shadow type as well. Hot Toys, Yamato, I don't care but anyone who carries on the line for Fuke, Yellows & Dark Ride Armors are my Heros!!!
  9. I saw that right away, even though I thought I had read somewhere that the landing bays could be built retracted. quite a bit of plastic would need to be removed in order for that to happen but shouldn't be to difficult. ("Measure twice & cut once") If I do another Galactica with the bays retracted I might do it with a little bit of wear & tear to it and I liked your suggestion of solar exposure, but a 3rd version would be right after Galactica's final jump where she breaks her back. When I saw the finale I thought if I they ever make a model kit I am building it like that!! Just curious has anyone seen in person the Battlestar Pegasus Resin Kit (about 19 inches long)? Wondering if its worth getting or just wait and see if Moebius makes one! Anyone else working on BSG kits??
  10. Thats what I asked, I have a feeling its a bit pricey!
  11. Looking good VF-19!! I was going to go with a mufti gray finish, but the more I looked at the Moebius instruction sheet that unpainted Aluminum-Steel finish won me over, follow by a dark gray wash, panel lining, decals then aged. I love this kit and the detail, I will definitely get one or 2 more. One with the Bays retracted in and another from the Finale. Enjoy!!
  12. Its not the worst thing I've ever seen before, but in the realm of Macross & Valkyries this lacks some serious imagination and effort. Wasn't a fan of the Tornado Fast Packs neither. I'll take my VF-4 or VF-0 any day before this new design!
  13. Thats an awesome looking X-Wing derex, detail to the pilot is slick, just needs some weathering & decals!! Well I have my GALACTICA assembled, gave it a rough paint job just to see what colors will work best. (Flat Steel & Gray's with a black wash). again shes an easy kit and everything fits really flush, no warped parts and the attention to detail is superb, right up there with the really expensive Resin kits. I have my Moebius MKII's next to it to show its size. The cool thing is the landing bays are hollowed and there are 2 huge decals for the runways marked BSG-75. The engines are clear parts in case you wanted to install LED's. And finally my small squadron of old school & new Vipers.
  14. Mind blowing work Kurt!!
  15. I'm sensing a cockpit & part of a fighter, So far so good, keep it up!!!
  16. Hey homura, those are some nice pics of your VF-0A, such a beautiful design!! Glad to see that Arm & shoulder situation is fixed and yours is in good condition!
  17. LOL, actually I got this for $37.00 shipped and the attention to detail is mind blowing!! The BSG measures 13 inches long and though it says Skill level III, easiest kit I have ever assembled, just needs painted & detailed!
  18. My day just got a whole lot Frakking better!!
  19. May the Force be with you Irvin Kershner, R.I.P. Great director and provider of the Best Star Wars film.
  20. Leslie Nielsen was the man and a true one of kind, gonna miss this guy. RIP buddy!!
  21. Until Yamato or Hasegawa make an improved/ultra detail Toy or Model kit for the VF-2SS, the old Bandai 1/100 isn't to bad. Its simple, easy to build, rather sturdy and unlike the recent VF-25 kits, this model doesn't have six million parts and many that pop off or difficulty staying in place. Battroid is super solid, Gerwalk is a snap, Fighter is the only mode that is less than great between the cockpit and how the arms rest. But for an older kit and the price its works well. Its not perfect transformation, but you can swap out the parts and transform it quicker than a PT VF-25!!
  22. The VF-0D and VF-1J are extremely impressive displays!!
  23. Holy Crap on a stick that thing is big!! I'll be keeping an eye on this project!
