  1. That is amazing, I never realized how good the old SDF-1 could look with some talented TLC!! The Bridge looks great and it can still transform. Just curious about the Daedalus & Prometheus as to why they are painted grey, is that a non-canon custom touch or just cause it looks really cool! (I guess I just grew up always seeing them painted blue). Hey YAMATO are you seeing this?? hint, hint!
  2. You are so lucky to live in Japan, not just for the hobby shops (Food, culture, etc.) but the easy access of Macross & Other Anime related items, such a pain in the rear to get stuff here in the states these days (short of online) and when you do find them they sure seem over priced and a limited selection. When I lived in LA there were a handful of good shops, now living in KS my nearest Anime of any kind store is in Missouri...lame!! So when you walk into that Hobby shop Monday, have a big smile and remember its good to be in Japan!!
  3. "Wait, wait, wait, stop... Are there Muppet's in this movie?" Classic. The Muppet's rule!!
  4. I was just looking at your pics, they do look alike. I got mine at a local furniture shop here in town (I forget who the maker is) but I'm pretty sure its the same one that comes in a long box with a 1000 parts to assemble (aka IKEA style) but cheap and works well, your VF-19 pics are making want to get one now!
  5. Wow, the old page finally got retired! Nice build so far on your Hornet, will your SV-51 be in Nora's color scheme or are you doing a custom?
  6. One of my favorite songs next to the August & Everything After CD.
  7. I just finally saw a preview for this on Adultswim the other night, looks absolutely horrid & cheap.
  8. Thanks!! One of my rare pride & joys. I'm using it as a model to build another one, possibly Roy's TV Space version.
  9. In the world of Legioss Toys, I though the Toynami version had a good design but the QC is atrocious. But the one jenius posted is the 1/35 scale, if you can find them, buy one as they are still the best ( A tad chunky, but the landing gear makes up for that), not to mention when I was a kid you could go to Toys R us, Target and KB Toys and pick one up, good times!!
  10. I agree with Dobber a bit on the VF-17, its the Chunky-ugly of them all. However that fact its based the F-117 (one of my favorites) & Yamato is making it, plus Graham is already giving the new VF-19 pretty much a 5 Star QC, design, diecast rating, I will be very impressed to see what Yamato comes up with. I have a feeling when the pictures start to come out we'll be filled with Balls out excitement and our wallets screaming at us again!!
  11. The old Gakken Legioss, I still have the Red & Green one, but Stick's was the one that got away!! After all these years its still a beautiful Toy.
  12. All things Roy Focker!!! If I wasn't out of beer there would be one in the pic as well.
  13. VF-2 Vigilantes is a great paint scheme. I have a VF-0B in the same colors, looks wicked.
  14. Thats one Defender I wouldn't want to mess with in a dark alley!! Looks awesome!!
  15. That alone says making a live action AKIRA is a bad idea, Kaneda is a teen, not some 47 y/o covered in make up.
  16. Just like your other VF-19 kit, this is the one I still haven't bought yet and the color scheme makes this 22 look wicked!! Models are always tricky to photograph, but they still look awesome!!
  17. Looks awesome Dobber, makes me want to get my kit out of the closet and finally build it!!!
  18. Agreed, this color scheme blows the doors off the 25th Anniversary types, Yamato should make a 1/60 in these colors!!
  19. My friend has the Club-M and its a beautiful design, but you can't knock the Hasegawa mold either, the details, the pilot, gear & overall design look amazing!! I pre-ordered 3 of them!!
  20. Very impressive, I LIKE IT!!!!!!!
  21. The Air brakes & pilot are a big plus, the landing gear looks awesome. I'm looking forward to this kit!
  22. Your a Madman Captain!! Keep it up!!
  23. No worries! Those seem like pretty damn good prices even with shipping. I love my 1/48 AB, but I might be tempted to get this 1/60 as well!!
  24. I've been hoping that Hasegawa would make these, I'll easily get 4 of these to start off!!! I sure hope the its line accurate with the Tail stabilizers & not stubby like the Yamato toys have been.
