Its been pretty much said already, awesome character designs (Its Haruhiko Mikimoto!!), the Mecha is great, battles are fun to watch and music is really cool too. But a weak story, you can tell by the animation either they were behind schedule or on a shoe string budget at times, Episode 5 is awesome and yet the final episode has some really bad scenes in it. (Especially Nexx in the Metal Siren) The english dub isn't to bad, just watch in Japanese with subtitles.... its far more enjoyable. Should Yamato make 1/60 toys of the VF-2JA, VF-2SS+SAP, Destroids & the Mac Cannons.... YES!!

If you rob the bank, grab enough $$$ for me too! I'll take a VF-11D as well as another version of the VF-11B, maybe this one has the fast packs or different decals as Dobber pointed out.

How big would a 1/60 VF-2JA be in comparison with Yamato's 1/60 line, more like a VF-1 Valk or the VF-0 Phoenix?

Hey maxi, let me dig out the camera & my Macross II book, has some very detailed sketches of the Icarus. Glad someone will attempt at making a variable version, I love the Mac II mecha!

Definitely, and besides the Flashback 2012 version, I'm sure Yamato could come up with other color schemes to use as well. I would easily get 3 of these if produced.

Great models there Noyhauser! The Prowler looks awesome and personally for me I LOVE the F-8 Crusader (This one is no exception). If you get a chance Derex watch the original Area 88 OVA, you'll have a new appreciation for the F-8 when Shin rips the Sh-t out of those tanks with his 20mm's!!

Hey VF-18S, I just got this one in the other day from MW member Rabidweezil (He has a few other still for sale). When I saw this one my 1st thought was "I must have it" and yes my book case is full, my CM's Roy's are barely on the edge and as you can see I had to remove all the Missile pods from the other VF's. If you see the pics I posted in the Strike a Pose section you 'll really see some "Hey don't fall on me!" shots! He applied Pilot M. Fallyna but I'll probably change that later on to someone different. Luckily my local furniture store is having a back to school sale as I see a new bookcase in my very near future. -
