Why not the F/A-18F Super Hornet, a far better choice than the F-35. -

That Officer Pod got pwned by Max!! Absolutely amazing work, the detail work on Millia's cockpit is superb. Also what program are you using for this?

Not one store anywhere near me in KS carries Tamiya, only Testors or Model master which I'm never thrilled with. So I still do business with my Cali connection at Smith Bros Hobby center!

I agree with you Keith, sometimes Anime reboots can work out very well and DYRL is a great example of that, its funny in that I never really thought of DYRL as a reboot until you mentioned it. Though the uniforms, mecha, Zentradi, Meltrandi and our Baby the SDF-1 all got revamps yet the characters basically remained the same and overall the plot which I liked, since they took the best of the series and then made the movie. Hell they even kept most of the original score and music. Yes the anime intro for pachinko game is beyond frakking awesome, if a remake looked just like that and overall an accurate remake of the original series then I'm all in. Also if they want to replace the infamous DISCO scene, with a basic night club thats a change I wouldn't mind!

Is that a Cats-Eye Neptune? Cockpits look very detailed!

1/48+fp's, 1/60+fp's, 1/72, 1/2k, 1/3k,1/100 and now 1/144

Definitely 1/60 V.2!! The first two I have ever owned and there will be more to come, I own eight of the 1/48 scale Valks & 10 of the older V.1 1/60's. Every time I was going to get a new 1/60 V.2 my money ended up going else where (Bills, repairs, you know non-fun stuff) but I decided to get these guys and see what the hype was all about, I get it now and they are one very solid very awesome toy. Next purchase Fast packs!! -

If the studios want to invest in a Macross project, make a new series and leave SDF Macross as is, its a classic in its own right. For many of us who are not big fans of reboots of classic movies (Robocop, Total Recall to name a few) this is the same idea, though the animation is old and dated I like it that way, its both nostalgic and reminds you how far the series has come as well the various anime techniques. Even if they did consider a remake my gut feeling is the story, plot and characters would be quite different, same names and mecha but all revamped... I say leave it as is, a piece of History. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks dude!! I agree, they're no where near as poseable as the Yamato toys, however the price is right for the size, details not to shabby, fun to make customs with and you can buy a Phalanx and Spartan!! -

That's a 1/5000 scale Revell Robotech kit, not the greatest kit but fun to build. you have to make some mods to the arms for them to res like that.
