If theres any 1/48's I still really want its the Stealth VF-1J and the Low Vis 01. M&M in 1/48 would cool, but I sort of want the V.2 1/60's instead, simply because the Fast Packs are so much more secure!! -

Thanks Magnus, that 1/55 VF-1S Strike is my prized possession, absolute dumb luck I bought it when I did and for the price too. Even if you never grew up owning these old school Valk's the Box Art alone is worth it to own them. One of these days I will own the Bandai VT-1, one of the coolest Valkyrie boxes ever IMO. -

My first VF ever was the 1/55 Transformers JETFIRE in 1985 (Happy Birthday to me!). I purchased Hikaru's VF-1S Strike at a comic shop in the Valley in 1996, sucker should have costed me a pretty penny but the store owner thought it was a dumb toy and said $65.00 and its yours. The 1/48 even with its flaws, the size alone makes it a winner in my book. The V.2 VF.... short of the issue with the shoulders which MW members & shape-ways solved, probably the sturdiest Valk ever made, nothing but love for that bad boy. -

Red Dawn Remake---Is nothing sacred???
505thAirborne replied to derex3592's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The original is a far underrated film and I am always surprised by the amount of smack that it gets, especially for the time it was made, you know when WWIII was still very likely with Russia, its not without its faults but I still enjoy it. Haven't seen the remake yet, but based on the pile of complaints and boos its gotten, doesn't sound like I am missing out on anything. -
Very tempted to get one of these kits. Looks amazing, and yes its always good to see some 1/48 love!!
