  1. Nothing worse than being Yamato-ed!!
  2. If theres any 1/48's I still really want its the Stealth VF-1J and the Low Vis 01. M&M in 1/48 would cool, but I sort of want the V.2 1/60's instead, simply because the Fast Packs are so much more secure!!
  3. If theres one thing Bandai really needs to improve on its the Landing gear. And yes you guys beat me to it, borrow some Hasegawa parts!! All in all its a cool looking kit, head lasers are a cool bonus!!
  4. How could you Not love your collection, just needs a top notch display case!! Love the 1/48 Urban Camo!!
  5. Your Jedi powers have no effect on me!!!
  6. Oh the torture jvmacross!!! Seriously though, you actually have the VT-1, you lucky stud!!
  7. Thanks Magnus, that 1/55 VF-1S Strike is my prized possession, absolute dumb luck I bought it when I did and for the price too. Even if you never grew up owning these old school Valk's the Box Art alone is worth it to own them. One of these days I will own the Bandai VT-1, one of the coolest Valkyrie boxes ever IMO.
  8. My first VF ever was the 1/55 Transformers JETFIRE in 1985 (Happy Birthday to me!). I purchased Hikaru's VF-1S Strike at a comic shop in the Valley in 1996, sucker should have costed me a pretty penny but the store owner thought it was a dumb toy and said $65.00 and its yours. The 1/48 even with its flaws, the size alone makes it a winner in my book. The V.2 VF.... short of the issue with the shoulders which MW members & shape-ways solved, probably the sturdiest Valk ever made, nothing but love for that bad boy.
  9. Nice!!! Always fun to see the various scales Side by Side, plus a little Cannon Fodder Love!!
  10. 1/55, 1/60 & 1/48 scales..... Yeah its thats awesome!!
  11. The original is a far underrated film and I am always surprised by the amount of smack that it gets, especially for the time it was made, you know when WWIII was still very likely with Russia, its not without its faults but I still enjoy it. Haven't seen the remake yet, but based on the pile of complaints and boos its gotten, doesn't sound like I am missing out on anything.
  12. Very tempted to get one of these kits. Looks amazing, and yes its always good to see some 1/48 love!!
  13. Zeros, Falcons & Hornets Oh My!! Looking good guys!!
  14. "Hmm, I think VE and VT share the same cockpit design but 1D is different. Actually I have a 1D kit at hand and at one time I just want to use it as a baseline. But, no, we are true lovers of DYRL, which drives me to head for a 100% true VE-1 and VT-1. You will see my cockpit design shortly." If your working on a proper cockpit (2-seater) design for the VT-1/VE-1, I will truly start saving some $$$.
  15. The transformation mechanisms on the legs, wings & torso has me sold. As for the Gunpod SNAFU, yup its mini magnets to the rescue!!
  16. @Gakken, That is a very sad thought that people would wait in line for an autograph just to turn around & sell it... on Ebay no less. Mikimoto's art style is the whole reason I wanted to be an artist (Not just Macross, but his other projects as well... Marionette Generation for example) and my love for Anime exploded. So hopefully the majority of fans who showed up (Like you) enjoyed the opportunity to meet him, shake hands, say hi and get your books signed and as i would do, get that stuffed framed and cherish it. Just meeting him and thanking him for his inspiration would be one more thing to cross out on the Bucket list!
  17. Its one of the few times its worth keeping the older V.1 Valks, though I still prefer the shade of Orange used on the V.1
  18. Hopefully in the works as well, custom Fast Packs would be sweet!
  19. This is one I'd really love to own, time to start saving $$$!
  20. Nice to see some Gerwalk Love!! Your VF came out fantastic!!
