So far I think I'm the only one who got one yet, I think others would have posted by now. Shipping only took about 7-8 days from HK to me.

I personally feel if this DYRL kit sells really good, and the fact that Hasegawa is taking a crack at the SDF-1 then a TV version will be released (fingers crossed!).

My absolute favorite Mobile Suit ever!! Looking forward to your completed MONSTER derex!

The Plastic is fairly thick and doesn't feel weak or brittle just not as strong IMO as the rest of the plastic used. @94, There are 2 screws holding the black visor under the White portion of plastic, plus the 2 visible screws on the side that hold the White body kit in place, a very smart design and keeps everything very solid. The white finish is very clean and smooth, just a few rough patches on mine but I'm in the process of priming & repainting. You could leave the helmet as is for painting it Hikaru's, as for the M911 decal, if you ask them not to apply I'm sure they'd do that for you.

My only advise on these helmets is if you do take it out for a ride is be careful of the Black Visor housing, the entire helmet is really solid, but that portion of plastic. at least to me doesn't seem like it would take a fall very well. Look forward to your review, you're really good at making those videos!

All That Phoenix: 1/72 Hasegawa VF-zeroes...A,B,C,D and S + Ghost
505thAirborne replied to shinagami's topic in The Workshop!
This kind of gives you an idea of what the VF-0D/C would look like with a Ghost on top. Though unlike shinagami, my rear-stabilizers are not properly modified for a secure fit. To bad Hasegawa never made spare weapons sets for the VF-0 kits! -
Freddy is the Man!! Had this one cranked at work today!

The Pilots look fantastic so you're off to a great start!! Take your time and enjoy the ride, especially that VF-0C, definitely a rare & pricey kit. -
While prepping appetizers and deserts today at the kitchen!

One more reason to be bummed I can't make the Con! Still "The Humdinger" looks awesome!!

Thanks Falcon, hopefully you ordered one of those helmets too, for the pre-order price they're worth it. Post some pics of your DYRL as it progresses!

Saw this opening scene in 92 at a comic shop in Reseda when I was still in HS, blew my mind!!

Between working to much and other hassles I've finally had a chance to work on my Zero Uniform again, getting my new Flight Helmet was a huge plus! Just waiting for my Shoulder Patches to arrive and its pretty much ready to go, as well as repainting the Helmet to look like Shin's! I tried to keep as close to the OVA style as possible but also giving it that real world look as well. I might redo the Black & Yellow shoulder boards as they look more like the DYRL style vs. Zero, what do you guys think?
