Oh my Grandpa passed away some years ago, what he did tell me once was "When your ship is going down forget protocol. either get on any lifeboat you see or jump for it!" LOL They were hauling aviation fuel at the time & left him with a 2ft scar on his left arm/shoulder. On the bright side it was one of his biggest adventures. My Grandpa Sig is on the right, his brother Marc is on the left.

I know I for sure want the SDF-1 (I missed out on Yamato's release), however this Premium finish is tempting. As long as the price is not insane it might be worth the extra $$$.

He meant to say Missile/rocket pods.

Haven't seen anything yet, I'll bet this is $225.00 a shot minimal. If it's cheaper than that I would be pleasantly surprised.

The M&M Valk's plus Cannon Fodders are always tempting.

Went and saw DUNKIRK today, I have to say that I really enjoyed it a lot. The aircraft scenes were great, engine & rifle sounds plus the music were fantastic. The ships capsizing & sinking were realistic in my view as that is how my grandfather described his ship going down in the Pacific (Merchant Marine transport vs. Japanese Submarine... didn't go so well). If I have time I'd like to see it again in IMAX 3D.

Honestly, that Cyclone statue looks bad (those tires look like they belong on a Humvee) and the price tag is an instant "No Thank You!" Kids logic should invest their $$$ in some 1/10 non Variable RIde Armors like what Beagle designed. (Soldier & Bike Mode). That would be an instant buy for me.

Gotta sneak a Ride Armor in!

^^^This is the better option. The more I look at this SDF-1 the less I like it. For what this thing will cost you could have one hell of a HMR fleet or some sweet 1/60's!

1/24 scale.

You're not entirely alone on this one. I was in 4th grade (1985) when RT debuted on TV, so it's all I knew until 86 when I got a bootleg of DYRL (My mind was blown away by that film!). And many years later when I found copies of Southern Cross & Mospeada my first reaction was the same, I enjoyed the background music in RT much more. The original music felt very cheap & dated even for it's time. DYRL on the other hand has a superb OST & Music!!
